Most members of the team were wearing their blues while making sure everything was at order in the Chicago street festival that was undergoing, while she was at the Distric dealing with some files with Antonio.

"Hey, you okay? You look a little down today." Antonio says sympathetically.

"Yeah, I just got a lot on my mind."

"Wanna talk about it? Believe it or not I'm great at advice." Antonio joyfully shows her a smile making Teresa crack one as well.

"No it's just... family, I guess."

"You've been talking to that Theodor guy?"

"No, no... Tyler called me and he wanted to have me and Toby going to our old house to have a dinner with them all. You know, parents, siblings and half-siblings... all together in the same room for the first time ever."

"You don't want to go?"

"It's not not wanting to go, it's just... I haven't talked to my mom in a decade and it's not like I have good memories with her, or Theodor for that matter."

"Family is complicated, but if you call them your 'family'... that has to mean something."

Teresa stayed quiet for a while and then sighted. "It's not like Toby would go. And he'd dragged be out of that house if I went."

"He shouldn't do that. If you go, that's your choice, just like it's his choice not going. You're not conjoint twins, you got to live moments of your lives apart." Antonio says. "You do what you got to do."

"The thing is, Toby is right. I shouldn't even think of going in that house. I mean... that woman and that man that were supposed to protect me and take care of me stole from me, the little money I could earn to put some food on the table and not get us evicted... they never cared about me whatsoever, they used drugs around me when I was a toldler... I would starve if I didn't have such good neighbours. Why? Why would I even...?" Teresa just exales loudly trying not to scream.

"Better?" Antonio asks after a minute of silence.

"Sorry."

"It's fine. You needed to get that off your chest." He smiles at her. "Listen, don't have dinner with your parents but invite your half-brothers to go somewhere. It's not their fault what you parents did when you were young."

"Maybe."

"Don't worry about it too much."

"Easier said than done... Hey, how do you think Jay has been lately?"

"Good. Why? You still worried about what happened last week?"

"Yeah. It didn't seem like he'd be fine for a little longer."

"Jay is strong, don't worry. And for what I've seen you've been a great partner to him."

"Well... I try..."

Just then they were interrupted by Voight.

"A bombing just happened." He quickly says as he goes to gather his badge and gun. "On the festival. Antonio, come with me. Logan, you stay here and answer our calls, we might need some quick investigation."

"Yes, sir." Teresa answered alert.

Antonio picked up his own things and went with Voight.

The team did their investigation on the field and then they came back to the District. It was a bit of a chaos in there since everyone was busy with things from the bombing and were going up and down to do their jobs. Teresa was to go with Jay to Chicago Med where one of the bombers was being treated.
