Teresa slowly got out of bed not to wake up Will, and got out of the room, barefoot, making no noise, and keeping the lights off. Traveling around the house with only the light coming from the street lamps, Teresa found her way to the living room and got close to a window, watching the world outside and wondering if Larry Shepard already had another bomb, planted somewhere, ready to blow up.

She stood there for a long time before moving to the couch. She sat down and then turned her head to the window, as if keeping watch to see if anything would happened in the world outside. It was a long time before her eyes started closing and she surrendered to sleep.

It wasn't even six in the morning before Teresa woke up with a startle, taking a couple of seconds before realizing she was safe and had fallen asleep on Will's couch. She sat up, rubbed her eyes and then got into the shower. She was dressed and ready to leave when Jay texted her that he was on his way.

Will was still sound asleep in bed and Teresa left the apartment without making any noise.

"Got you some coffee," Jay says as Teresa's gets in the car.

"Exactly what I needed."

They went to the district and started looking for any information on Shepard. Voight still wasn't in and so Jay suggested he and Teresa to go watch Shepard's house, see if there was any movement, from Shepard or someone else while the others gathered information back at the district.

The unit put a BOLO on every car Shepard ever owned, were keeping watch on every neighborhood he ever lived in, and put Area Central's talking to his friends of family. But Shepard was prepared, hadn't used his phone in three months, no credit card, wiped out all of his social media, bank accounts and email.

All they knew was that two years prior, Shepard was investigating a brutal murder of a young woman. Sheri noticed the story, dugged into it, found out Shepard knew the mudered woman and accused him of the crime in a tweet. The tweet was shared, reported and Shepard was fired.

The Police who were investigating that crime cleared Shepard from the start and found the killer a few months later, but it didn't matter. Shepard's name was dirty, he couldn't find another job, his wife and kids left him.

There was a video of Shepard saying that there was a time when people pay, sounding like a threat to journalists. If Intelligence assumed that the next target would be a hournalist who reported on him, there were about half a dozen possibilities.

Voight said to bring in all possible targets. Olinsky knew a guy, Malcom, who might have information on where Shepard bought his C-4, so he and Antonio interrogated him.

Malcom gave them the name George Lehr. Kim, after looking him up, recognized him from the scene of Eric Mitchel's bombing, offering to help them.

Teresa and Jay went back to 21st when they got that new lead and started investigation with everyone else.

"Adam and I checked out his ID by the way." Kim announces. "It's legit."

"But he's our fence. Sold the C-4 Shepard's using." Olinsky says.

"Which means they were in contact." Teresa adds.

"Okay, we know this how?" Voight asks.

Teresa hands Voight the file in her hands.

"Messages on Lehr's Facebook timeline. Five in two months, each one posted from a different dummy profile. Then three days ago another dummy profile posted nothing but an email address. The email address has since been shut down, but I think it was Shepard."

"All right. So you want to take him?" Antonio questions.

"No." Voight denies. "I mean, we finally got a lead to Shepard. I don't want to blow it. Look, get coverts on Lehr's house. Find out everything about this guy. If these two are on contact, we got to figure out a way to get ahead of it without Lehr knowing."
