"So my brother told me you went to the ER last night." Jay says as he drives them to work.

"Yeah... trouble with my dad."

"Are you going to ask Voight for the afternoon off?"

"Nope. I won't ask for a thing."

"Come on. It's your brother's last day before deployment. You should be with him."

"I'll be fine."

They get to 21st and say good morning to Platt, just as they were going up Voight gets down.

"You two. Gear up."

"What's the fire?" Teresa asks.

"Robbery in progress. They need our assistance. Robbery and SWAT are already there."

"Robbery and SWAT are there and they need us?" Teresa asks Jay as they put on their bullet proof vests.

"Must be having a hard time."

They stop at a locked street with police everywhere and a SWAT team. Teresa and Jay are quickly joined by the others. Voight speaks with the SWAT team who's going to let them lead the case. Intelligence needs to take care of it fast and safely.

Voight gets Olisky and Jay to go to two different building to have two different shots on the bank. The rest of the team stays making a plan.

"They are requesting medical assistance." Voight says. "We're going to agree to send in a paramedic in exchange for some hostages. We'll start with women and kids, if there are any inside."

"And who are we going to send as a paramedic?" Antonio questions.

"I can do it." Teresa quickly volunteers. "Is it a bullet wound?"

"The security guard shot him. We don't know if that security is still alive or not"

"I can take it out and stitch it in no time."

"Alright." Voight agrees. "Take out your badge and your gun. Let's go to the ambulance to get you a paramedic bag and a jacket." Voight says going with her. "Put the bulletproof vest over the jacket. They'll search you and you can't have anything to hide."

Antonio gets one of the paramedic radios to Teresa, so she can contact them inside. They make up codes so they can comunicate as if she was reporting back to another paramedic and not the cops. They get syringes and some sedatives so that inside, Teresa can quickly arrange it and knock someone out if it comes to it.

"We got reports that they were three. Now if you see there's only the three you say «I got it under control», if you see more you say on the radio «we got a gun shot type 1 or 2 or 3» depending on there being one more, two more or three more inside, okay?"

"I got it, Sergeant."

"If you don't say anything we'll guess they've taken the radio. But if you tells us there's only three and one is down, try to get the other two near the windows, so that Olinsky and Halstead can get the shot." Voight turns Teresa to look at where Jay and Olinsky are. "You got the view they have?"

Teresa peaks from behind the ambulance just a second to imagine the route Jay's and Olinsky's shots would take.

"I got it, Sergeant."

Teresa gets the bag over her shoulder. In that bag there was no intubation intruments, so in case the guy who was down needed to be intubated, Teresa had an excuse to get out of there to get the other bag and giving a quick update to the team.

Voight speaks over a megaphone demanding for women and children to be let go as a act of goodwill in exchange for the paramedic.

The door slightly opens, a woman crying standing there, shaking, with a gun pointed at her head.
