When Jay got to the district in the early morning he went straight to Voight's office, who had just got there as well.

Just as he was getting out of the car the minute before, he had gotten a phone call.

"Detective Halstead."

"Hey, this is Tyler, Teresa's brother."

"Oh, yeah! Hey, thanks for calling."

"No problem. I got home pretty late last night and I saw your note. I figured I should wait 'til morning to call you. Why did you want me to call you anyway?"

"I was wondering if you knew where Teresa was. She didn't show up for work yesterday and since she was spending the night from Sunday to yesterday at your place..."

"Teresa didn't spend the night here," Tyler informed, confused.

"She didn't go there on Sunday?"

"No, man. She was supposed to, but she never came. I called her but she had her phone off, so I figured she was just ditching us."

"So she didn't... she wasn't at your place?"

"No, man. Sorry."

"Okay, thanks. Look, I might need to call you again soon, so keep your phone close to you. And if you find something about Teresa, call me straight away."

"Yeah, I'll do that."

Jay hung up the phone and almost ran inside, ignoring Platt's remarks and going straight to the bullpen.

"Sarge, there's still no news on Teresa," he says alarmed and quickly. "I talked to Will yesterday and he told me she had spent the whole Sunday and the night at her place. She was supposed to come to work yesterday from there and go back to Will's after work. But she didn't go back to Will's, we checked her house... no one was home so I left a note and one of her brothers just called and told me Teresa was indeed supposed to go there Sunday but she never showed up."

"Her phone is still off?"

"Yes, and her brother told me he tried to call her on Sunday but she already had her phone off then."

Voight nods. "Okay. Call everyone in, don't tell them anything other than they need to be here."

"Copy," Jay says as he gets his phone.

"When did Will last see her?"

"Early Sunday morning."

"Okay. So, Teresa was last seen almost 48 hours ago. Let's start seeing if we can find anything on her and in a couple hours, we officially declare her missing."

Jay nods as he gets on the line with Antonio.

"Hey, Tony! You on your way to the district? Okay, hurry up, we got a case."

In less than half an hour everyone was in. Voight also called Platt up to the bullpen. Voight and Jay stood next to an empty board, quietly.

"What's going on, Sarge?" Antonio asked.

Voight looked at Jay and nodded, allowing him to start explaining.

Jay, who had a photo of Teresa in his hands, puts it up on the board. Kim's jaw slightly dropped as she saw him putting it up and she uncrossed her arms.

"What's going on?" Kim asked worried as Jay writes Teresa name under her photo.

"Teresa was last seen Sunday morning," Jay started with a sigh.

"We're officially declaring her missing in less than two hours, 48 after she was last seen." Voight informed.

"My brother Will was the last person to see her, just before she left to go to her house at South Side. The plan was for her to spend the entire Sunday with her brothers, sleep there and then come to work on Monday and then go back to Will's apartment. I went to Teresa's place last night after work, all lights were out and it seemed empty. I left a note for her brothers to call me. Teresa's brother Tyler called me half an hour ago. He told me Teresa never showed up on Sunday and that he tried to call her then, but her phone was already off."

"Okay, so what do we know?" Antonio asked.

"Nothing," Jay responded honestly. "So we need to check everything out."

"Trudy, you've known Teresa the longest," Voight started. "I know Teresa never had many people around her so... Get everyone Teresa knows, see if she reached out."

"Will do."

"And when the 48 hours are gone, get patrol looking around for her."

Platt nodded and then went down the stairs, back to the front desk to get to work.

"Burgess, Antonio. You go to South Side, interview the brothers." Voight orders. "Jay, you check every route to her house she might have taken after leaving Will's apartment. Atwater, Ruzek, go interview Will Halstead."

"Shouldn't I go speak to Will?" Jay asks stepping forward.

"No, you do as I say. Get to work."
