Teresa saw her brothers body going to the morgue covered by a white sheet.

Sylvie Brett arrived at the hospital that time she didn't even look at the stretcher where the body was and just went to Teresa.

"Is he still in surgery?" Sylvie asks directly.

"He's gone." Teresa says monotone and then walks away.

Finally, since her brother's body is going to the morgue, Teresa agrees to get stiches in her forehead.

Natalie was in charged of doing that. But before she even started she told Teresa how sorry she was about Toby. And Teresa could see that she really meant it, even though she had only spoke with both Toby and Teresa once before.

"Thanks." Teresa answered.

Kim and Jay were in the ER room with her, watching over her. Kim had talked to Sylvie for a little longer than Teresa and then told her she should go home for now.

Natalie quickly stiches her up and discharges her.

Teresa had to fill in some paperwork and soon she had to arrange for a funeral home for the funeral service and the viewing of the body.

"You don't need to think about it now..." Jay starts as they walk outside, Kim behind them.

"I'm not letting my brother's body stay in a freezer. I want him buried as soon as possible."

"Okay. I'll help you take care of that."

"Do you want to stay with me?" Kim asks.

"No. I'm going to my apartment."

Jay and Kim exchanges looks.

"Are you sure?" Jay asks. "I can stay with you."

"Can you just take me home and then leave me alone?" Teresa asks calmly. "I just want to be alone."

"Of course."

Jay drives her home quietly, no questions and no small talk. Teresa didn't cry, but Jay guessed she was saving the rest of tears for when she was alone.

"Did you call your brothers?"

"Half-brothers." Teresa corrected angrily.

Now more than ever, she had the need to make the distinction between 'brother' and 'half-brother'.

"Right, sorry. Did you?"

"No. I'll go to their house tomorrow."

"If you want me to go with you..."

"No, it's fine. Do you know who I should contact in the Rangers? To make sure they know why he isn't going tomorrow?"

Teresa and Jay sit in her couch as Jay makes a call. He then turns to Teresa and gives a a number that could help her. She calls it and puts it on speaker.

"Hello. This is Teresa Logan speaking."

"Good afternoon. How can I help you?"

"My brother died today. He was supposed to go back to duty tomorrow and I think he was being deployed somewhere."

"Can you tell me his name, age and the force he worked for?"

"Toby Logan, 32 and he was with the 75th Ranger Regiment Special Troops Batallion. 12 years on active duty."

The man on the other side of the phone asked a few more questions, such as the cause of death and asked for Teresa to send him the death certificate.

"I'll send it. He was supposed to go and present himself to work tomorrow. Will anyone who's expecting him know?"
