"Cheers!"

Teresa and Kim raise their glasses and drink up. The last few weeks had flown by since Teresa had finally completed her weeks in the academy and was now just waiting for the graduation ceremony for everything to be officialised.

During those couple of weeks, Teresa hadn't met with anyone of the team, only keeping in contact with Sergeant Voight and Jay, who'd often check up on her and tell her about the cases they had.

Before those couple of weeks, Teresa and Kim had hung out outside of work a few times after grabbing drinks like they had talked about.

"You know, even before these two weeks without working in Intelligence... I feel like you have a glow in you," Kim affirms.

"A glow?" Teresa snorts.

"Yeah, like you're happy."

Teresa smiles at the comment. "I am happy."

"And that's great. But... any reason in particular?" Kim asks curiously.

"Things are working out."

"Things, uh?" Kim asks with a smile. "Well, let's drink to things working out." Kim raises her glass again and Teresa does the same.

Teresa was telling the truth. Everything in general was working out. She had gone on more dates with Will and things were going smoothly between them, before she had her break from Intelligence, she had kept up the good work and let go the fact that the unit had tried to keep a secret when her brother had been detained, at the academy she had exceled at everything. And most importantly, Theodor had disappeared again. After Teresa had told Tom and Tyler to get rid of the drugs, they had done just exactly that. She didn't ask how or where the drugs ended up, but as long as they weren't in the house, it was not her problem. Theodor, when he woke up from his black-out due to drinking and found his drugs gone, panicked and the disappeared. He hadn't shown up since.

"When is your graduation ceremony?"

"Next weekend."

"Yeah? I'll come."

"Hell no. If a case doesn't pop up and ruin the weekend, you go and enjoy your free day."

"Is someone going?"

"I don't think so, no."

"You should have someone there."

"There's only one person I'd want there and he's not going," Teresa admits.

Kim shows her a sympathetic smile. "If you're sure you don't want me there... but we have to celebrate afterwards."

"Sure. We'll do that."

"Are you coming to work tomorrow already?"

"Yes! I've not enjoyed my days away from 21st."

"It was only a couple of weeks, Teresa. Settle down."

"I feel like it was too long, though! And to think of all the C.I.'s Antonio must have been snatching from the rest of us."

"Well, the devil works hard but Antonio works harder," Kim jokes. "And it's good you're back. Jay has gone crazy without you. Seriously, that man does not enjoy being partnered with other people more than a couple of days."

"He's just a creature of habit. Now that he's gotten used to have me as his partner, it's hard for him when he can't boss around the person he's working with."

"Are you a creature of habits?" Kim questions.

"No. No way. I was a Marine. One thing I didn't have for ten years were habits."
