The next day both Teresa and Will had the day off, so when the sun rose, they remained in bed. Teresa would have laid there, next to Will, for the entire day had it not been her phone ringing.

"Who the hell is calling you?" Will asks with his eyes still closed. "Intelligence wouldn't pick up a case now, would they?"

"No way. Intelligence is on a break today, because of Olinsky... I think Voight wanted to help with the funeral but I don't know. He's also under investigation because of the shooting."

"What? What is it?" Will asks feeling Teresa's uneasiness.

"I'm a little... on the fence."

"On the fence?" Will opened his eyes and turned on the side to face her.

"Olinsky is a great loss, to everyone at Intelligence, his wife, to Chicago really, he's done great police work. These months I've been in Intelligence we barely even talked but he was very kind to me when Toby died. Which is why I feel bad that... I just wanna go on with my life. I want to go to the District and be useful. I want to hang out with everyone at Molly's..."

"Don't feel bad, Tez," Will interrupts her. "Look, after your brother died you had terrible days, then some better ones and then bad ones again... it took a while for you to even think of being happy or moving forward. You've grieved and been through a lot the past few months. There's no need to beat yourself up for not... grieving as hard now."

"I feel numb to it."

"I know. And you don't need to feel bad or guilty or whatever for it."

Will was interrupted by Teresa's phone again.

"Hold on," she says turning to the other side on the bed and getting her phone. "What?" She listened to the other end of the call. "Jesus Christ, and you have to call me at this hour?" She pauses and listens again. "I'm on my way," she replies and hangs up the call.

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing. It's my brother Tyler," Teresa replies as she sits on the bed with her legs out.

"And...?"

"I need to go to the house."

"Want me to come with?"

"Nope. I'll go and be back in an hour and we can go get some breakfast... or a brunch."

"A brunch sounds nice, but are you sure you don't want me to come with?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. I'll be back before you know."

"Okay..."

Teresa got up and went to the bathroom. When she got out she put on some jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket over it since it was cold out, and then put on her boots.

"Wanna take my car?"

"No need. I'll take the 'L'," Teresa says as she walks away.

"Call me if you need—" Will started but Teresa closed the front door hard on him, "anything..." he concluded in a whisper.

Teresa walked the front steps of her house quickly and opened the unlocked door.

"This should be locked, you idiots," she warns loudly as she entered. "Forgot already why we have a new door?"

"Yeah well, no one has been looking around the house or anything suspicious so..." Tyler shrugs as he comes from the kitchen to the living room to meet Teresa.

"Where's Tom?"

"Work. He's been working a lot lately, so usually the babysitting comes down to me."
