"Uwaah?! Aone??" Hinata shrieked before giving a polite bow and greeted the man with sign.

The gentle giant returned the bow as Hinata explained how he had finished dropping his sister home and was heading back to the café.
Aone nodded and turned to show he was walking in the same direction. His home was actually quite close to the café which was why he could go regularly if he wanted to.
The two strolled through the late evening together and Hinata was more than happy to continuously babble about everything. Aone on the other hand, was just as happy to listen with the occasional nod when he wanted to agree.
"I can't believe it! Natsu has a race in two weeks! I have to close the store that day because Tooru said Iwaizumi wanted a date then but I'm going to go cheer sis on!"
Aone nodded happily as Hinata suddenly turned to him.
"Tooru said we were in the same middle school, is that true?"
Aone stopped and blushed before nodding slowly and Hinata bowed.
"I'm sorry, I don't remember you."
There was a frantic wave of hands as Aone told him it was okay and Hinata sighed.
"Although I'm sure I remember everyone from middle school. Why don't I remember you?"
Aone didn't know how to answer and Hinata sighed quietly, thinking about the kids from his childhood.
There was only one with snow white hair though and it was a boy who lived in the neighborhood briefly as Hinata just moved in.
He also happened to be Hinata's first friend as the first person Hinata met.
The only thing was that the kid was even shorter than Hinata as he helped his father at their flower shop.

There's no way he's Aone. I mean, Aone is super tall! And he was the shorter than me! Theres no way! Right?
By the end of their walk together, Hinata arrived at the backdoor when he looked at Aone.
"Wanna see the cats before you go?"
The gentle giant nodded slowly as they went inside and just like the day before, the two spent the rest of the day playing until Aone had to leave.
When he left, Hinata stretched his body and made sure the mother cat had caught something to eat when he saw a note on the windscreen of his car.
Hmm?
Picking it up, Hinata blushed as he saw it was once again a cute note from Aone who was too shy to talk.

And just like that, Aone became a regular of the café as he turned up on most of the quiet days for the last hour since his vet shop closed an hour before the café did.
He became known as Haruhana's coffee buddy as the two would sit peacefully, often reading as they sipped their drinks.
And although no one ever saw them talk much in person, Aone would linger at the end of the day to spend a couple minutes with Hinata playing with the kittens.
Even if he didn't tell Oikawa, the older guy noticed a new addition to their room and it was a jar filled with paper flowers.
At first, he thought nothing of it but Oikawa did start to question the paper used as he often saw writing in some of the petals.
Oikawa had lost his chance of the bet as two weeks had passed but was fine as he got ready for his date with Iwaizumi. The man didn't get much free time since he was a business man but always filled his free days with dates.
The shop was closed like Hinata said and the ginger headed to the pool where the competition was held when he caught sight of a familiar giant.
"Aone??"
Turning around, Aone waved when a woman with matching snow white hair gasped.
"The older Hinata!"
The ginger turned to face Natsu's swim coach and that was when it clicked.
He did remember Aone, he was the kid who was the son of a flowerist and swim teacher. The swim teacher who just happened to be Natsu's coach and helped get his sister where she was today.
"How's your guitar kid?" She asked and Hinata blushed when more answers came in without their questions.
As it turned out, Aone was also the reason why he wanted to play the guitar in the first place because as a kid, the boy with snow white hair was too shy around everyone. The only reason he even started to speak to Hinata was because the overconfident ginger had horribly failed at playing a song and it got Aone giggling.
They sat down together as Natsu's class cheered for her from the stands.
Hinata pulled out his phone to text Kageyama that Natsu had gotten second place in the national race when his ex-boyfriend gave him a text that surprised him.

Kageyama had decided to just not type back as Hinata sputtered his gay panic over text.

Hinata thanked him as the award ceremony was over and cheered with the crowd before making his way to congratulate his sister in person.
When that was all over, Hinata waved goodbye to his mother and sister before turning to Aone who was also ready to leave.
He was a little flustered as he grabbed onto his sleeve and tugged a little, unsure what to say.
