Not wanting to hear the rest, Tsukishima quickly put on his headphones to drown out all the noise from around him as he turned away from them and headed towards his classroom.

Damn it! I'm so.... PISSED!!!

Hinata looked up in shock at the guy he supposedly had feelings for but...he found himself unable to say yes. Instead there was only one guy in his mind.

"I-I'm sorry Kags!" he stuttered, eyes widening as he was becoming aware of feelings he didn't know he had.

"I... I can't!"

He pushed Kageyama away before running up the stairs, right now only wanting to see the blonde.

But when he got up, there was no one there and the world around Hinata crashed.

Kageyama stood hurt and more confused than ever as he stomped towards his classroom annoyed. He was going to gave a word with Tsukishima and to tell him to make up his mind on who he liked because he had taken both of the boys he once or does have feelings for.

But when he reached Tsukishima's classroom, the blonde wasn't there but he could see Yamaguchi from the window. A figure was leaning against the tree and Kageyama knew immediately.

There's that pole!

He was about to yell but he overhead one sentence that made him stop.

"go out with me Yams"

Right... Salty liked Yama too... And since he asked... They'll be together now...

Kageyama's world crashed around him too as he turned away and headed back into his seat. He didn't want to even think anymore.

"No"

"huh?"

Tsukishima didn't know what to say as Yamaguchi said no. It wasn't that the rejection hurt, it was that he had never heard Yamaguchi say the word no before.

"No because you like Hinata don't you?" Yamaguchi said quietly and Tsukishima blushed.

"What?"

"I have been your friend for quite a while Tsukki..."

"Shut up Yamaguchi...."

Yamaguchi immediately went silent after apologizing and Tsukishima sighed.

"Actually don't, I need to talk right now..."

Yamaguchi looked surprised and his eyes widened.

"Wow, I don't know what to say..."

He smiled warmly at his best friend. "So this is the effect Hinata is to you..."

Tsukishima didn't answer and only looked away and Yamaguchi laughed. "How did he do that?"

Tsukishima though a little before opening his mouth.

"Well... I guess it started by him being stubborn..."

He looked into the sky and thought about when he first properly started talking.

"I... liked how his conversations kept me occupied... And how he knew what I was thinking and did something to make me happy despite the fact he should look after himself... And... I liked how he overreacts to everything and being around him... It's fun..."

"Wow someone's in love" Yamaguchi said as he stared at his quiet friend who usually never spoke.

"Yeah but he's with the king now."

With that, Tsukishima put on his headphones and the two sat in silence for the rest of lunch.

The next day was their training camp and a problem already struck.

Seating.

Kageyama sat next to Noya and Tanaka at the back as Yamaguchi sat next to Asahi. Both boys obviously avoiding each other and Suga watched with worry.

Hinata was next but instead of going to the back, he sat at the front in front of Daichi and made it obvious he was also avoiding everyone.

Tsukishima was last on the bus and was about to sit alone when Kiyoko pointed at the seat next to Hinata. Without much of a choice, he sighed as he didn't want to be near Yamaguchi or Kageyama, and sat next to Hinata.

"Hello..." Hinata said simply and the blonde nodded. The ginger then yawned and got obviously upset as he apologized to Tsukishima.

"Why?"

"Because I'm going to sleep so I can't talk to you."

"I'm happy you're finally shutting up Shrimp" Tsukishima snapped and Hinata looked at him in confusion.

"What?! Well-..... just don't have the sad look on your face okay?"

Sad look?

Before having a chance to ask, Hinata fell asleep.

Wait, what does he mean sad look? My face doesn't show emotion right?

Tsukishima thought as he looked at the fast asleep ginger.

And even if he could tell, why does he care?

Isn't he dating the king now?

He turned to see Kageyama yelling at Noya who was being rowdy and became glad thag Hinata was sleepy so he could enjoy a more quieter bus ride.

Damn it I just found another thing I like about him. I need to stop that.

He was pissed at himself and about to put on his headphones when he felt weight on his shoulder.

It was Hinata.

God he's so warm...

A little flustered, Tsukishima put down the headphones in his hands before relaxing in the chair. The rowdy bus sounds falling deaf to his ears by just Hinata's presence.

Well I guess I don't want to wake him...

He sighed as he knew he was being too soft.

I know I wished for Hinata to be happy and he's so peaceful at the moment. More than I have ever seen him...

Maybe it's because of the king?

But...

Tsukishima clicked his tongue in annoyance as he got upset.

Why couldn't I be the one to make him this happy?

I should've acted sooner!!!

I had so may chances over the week...

But he's happier with the king...

Tsukishima sighed again as he looked over to see that no one could probably see Hinata. Sure, he wished for Hinata to be happy with the king but... for now, he was going to be selfish. Trying to be descreet, he slumped down a little as he layed his head down onto the fluffy hair.

It's so comfortable...

And not even a minute later, disregarding the loud noises from the back, his eyes were too heavy to keep open and he also fell asleep.

Suga peeked over the head seat a minute later and smiled as he made sure they were asleep
