"Bakayama you shouldn't turn girls down like that!" Hinata protested as he ran up to Kageyama and a girl who had dissappeared behind a corner crying.

"Haaah?" Sneered Kageyama as he turned around.

"It's mean!"

"So what? What else should I say then?" asked the setter and Hinata thought for a bit.

"You should.."

The ginger blushed a little as he looked away shyly.

"You should say that you prefer playing volleyball with... Me..."

Kageyama tilted his head in confusion with an odd face.

"Okay? Sure I'll say that."

Surprised at the sudden attention, Hinata giggled to himself and nodded before running off to club.

"Let's go play volleyball!"

The next day as Hinata finished unlocking his bike, he wheeled it towards the gym but before he could reach the others, he caught the sight of Kageyama and another girl dissappearing behind the school building.

His crush on the king has been hurting him for months now but it didn't matter. He couldn't help but feel attracted.

And after yesterday with Kageyama being nice, he had one thought.

... I'm curious.

Leaving his bike to go peek, Hinata looked around the corner to see Kageyama rejecting once again, another love confession.

"Why?" the girl asked through her tears and instead of his usual "because I don't have time, you aren't more important than volleyball", Kageyama's answer made Hinata's heart flutter.

"Because I wanna play volleyball with Hinata."

The girl's crying slowed down and then asked out of jealousy, "are you gay?"

The spiker stilled and shook his head with an awkward laugh.

"No? Why would I?"

The girl stopped crying as she kept asking, trying to know why her crush rejected her.

"Because that's the first time you've said something different. All the girls keep saying that you reject them with the same words. But... Are you gay for Hinata?"

Kageyama frantically shook his head, each turn was hurting Hinata's feelings and it was getting hard to breathe.

"Fine I'll date you, don't know how long because I'm focusing on volleyball."

Heartbroken, Hinata wobbled backwards as Kageyama accepted the confession and the girl lit up immediately. She ran forward and hugged Kageyama, each second increasing the pain in Hinata's chest, stinging so much, he didn't want to be there anymore.

Instead, he jumped into his bike and made a full speed pedal off, not caring where he went.

"Hinata?!" Suga called out as he caught a glimpse of Hinata's pained face before the ginger dissappeared around the corner and the mother crow stood there in confusion and worry.

As he pedaled, with the wind sapped from his lungs, Hinata just kept going until he stopped and collapsed into a bush.

The world was spinning and his body was on fire as the last words he heard before fainting were"-ibiii"

Where am I?

Hinata woke in a random person's bed and looking around, he was pretty sure it was Iwaizumi's house as he recognized the room in Oikawa's Instagram.

That and the fact that when the ginger looked down, he saw Oikawa asleep on the floor next to him, using Hinata's legs as a pillow.

The door opened and Iwaizumi walked in with a tray and set it down on the ginger's lap.

"Here... I've always texted Suga.... You okay?"

There was food, medicine and water but Hinata couldn't even smile as he nodded and reached for the spoon.

Iwaizumi watched as Hinata tried to eat but to both their surprise, Hinata's hand shook so much he couldn't even lift the spoon properly.

"H-huh?"

Iwaizumi placed the back of his palm Hinata's forehead before sighing and sitting next to him.

"You have a fever idiot..." Iwaizumi said softly before he picked the spoon up and blew a bite before holding it up for Hinata.

The crow ate it with his heart thumping a little faster than usual but,

It's just the fever right? And also why I feel so warm.

He finished eating and Iwaizumi watched as he swallowed the medicine and placed the empty glass back on the tray

"Thank you I-waaah?!"

Hinata definitely blushed as Iwaizumi suddenly reached forward and rubbed a thumb along his top lip.

The older boy then leaned back as he grabbed a tissue to wipe the little bit of rice off his finger.

"O-oh, thank y-you..." Hinata stammered and the quiet boy stood up to leave.

Dizziness hit again as he sat there and next thing he knew, before Kageyama could even be back on his mind, Hinata passed out.

"Jeez... Chibi isn't looking so good..."

Oikawa got up from (fake) sleeping and got up, bumping their foreheads to check his temperature before leaving the room.

"Iwa-chan~"

"I thought you were asleep crappykawa?" asked the boy and Oikawa made a pouting face.

"You're so sweet to Hinata!" Oikawa sighed as he opened his arms for a hug. "You should be sweeter to me Iwa-chan! I'm your boyfriend!"

Iwaizumi looked at the sleeping ginger and sighed, not moving as he let Oikawa hug him.

"What do you think happened?"

"Iwa-chan worried is cute!" Squealed Oikawa before he changed his tone.

"Well, if I had to guess it's little Tobio-chan's fault...." He muttered and also joined Iwaizumi in watching over the ginger as he was passed out.

"Chibi having a crush on him was no secret to the rest of us so... Maybe he confessed and got turned down?"

The quieter boyfriend nodded and Oikawa sighed again.

"Tobio-chan is literally married to volleyball, as much as I hate to admit it, he's a good setter because he has nothing else... In a way, Chibi would've matched best with him even if Tobio-chan doesn't deserve sunshine here."

"Sunshine?" Asked Iwaizumi, never hearing a pet name exit Oikawa's mouth before, not even for him.

"Yeah, he's like a flame. Always bright and burning..." Oikawa then made a slightly gloomy face.

"So it's sad when he's sad..."

Iwaizumi was silent but couldn't help and agree.
