x Hinata One Shots

Ushijima II

Ushijima walked into the Karasuno gym and lifted a hand to make a small 'come here please' gesture to Suga who immediately ran over. Daichi was glaring at the Shiratorizawa captain and the silver head laughed awkwardly before showing Ushijima out so they could talk privately.

"Are you okay Ushijima? It's quite a bit from your school."

The captain nodded his head before giving a look of mild concern.

"Have you heard from Hinata?"

"My baby?"

More nodding as Suga then started to explain his own concern.

"Yeah he wasn't in today for some reason, I'm not too worried since he needed a break anyway and it must be a pretty serious reason if he didn't even come to practice you know?"

Ushijima smiled very faintly as he could easily imagine Hinata defying everything to get to practice. Whatever the reason, Suga was greatful for it as Hinata could finally take a breather.

"Yeah it's that he hasn't responded to my texts and he usually responds quicker than me being online so I was a little worried." Ushijima admitted and Suga smiled.

"Well the fact you came all the way here makes me very happy you are dating him. It puts me at ease."

Ushijima gave him a blank stare before slowly replying, "I see... I don't understand what you mean but I'll do anything to make sure Hinata's okay."

Suga smiled approvingly before pulling out his phone, "As a reward, I'll tell you his address."

Ushijima panicked, "I can't just turn up without announcing though?"

"My dear son in law" Suga smirked evilly, "mom will talk to Mrs Hinata so you can just turn up, I'll give her a call okay?"

With mama mode on, Ushijima just nodded along. The shiratorizawa mom, Semi, wasn't this scary....like ever.

".... Okay?"

"Good, now go."

They waved goodbye at each other before Ushijima followed the instructions given to him sent by text.

Well this should be the house...

He pressed the doorbell and a tiny female version of Hinata opened the door.

"Mommy! I think Ushi-nii is here!!!"

Ushi-nii?

"Oh hello, you must be Ushijima right?" a woman greeter him as she opened the door and relaxed at he sight of his jersey.

He nodded and Mrs Hinata smiled and invited him in.

"Yes, Suga called me and told me that you were coming to visit Shouyou to tell him what happened in the volleyball meeting today, right? You're welcome to stay for dinner too." she happily welcomed him before showing him upstairs.

She led him to a door before patting him on the back and walking back downstairs with a smile.

Ushijima thanked Suga silently before knocking the door.

"Hinata?"

There was immediate coughing as he listened hard.

*Cough* "Give me a sec-" *cough* "I'll be ther-" *thump!*

Concerned, Ushijima turned the handle and walked inside the door slowly.

"Sorry to intr- Hinata!"

The ginger was on the floor as if he tried to get up but failed miserably and Ushijima scooped him up into his arms, the thin boy easily enveloped in his chest.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked gently and Hinata smiled weakly

"Yeah, it's just it- *cough* -it's my first time ca-catching a *cough* cold."

Ushijima looked at him in surprise

"First? Well nevermind that, you definitely have a fever now."

He didn't even need to bump foreheads as heat radiated from Hinata's body.

"Let's get you back on the bed th-"

"Nooooo I wanna *cough* cuddle!!!"

"No, you need rest" Ushijima said calmly despite the fact he had a immune system he was proud of.

"Right.... I'll get you sick too...." Hinata said sadly as he tucked into himself.

"Wait no! That's not w-"

"It's okay, put me *cough* d-down" Hinata struggled as he fretted over getting Ushijima sick more than his own health.

*Sigh*

"No, not anymore now that you said that." Ushijima softly smiled and internally chuckled as his childish behavior. It was always like this around Hinata it seemed. No matter what front he put up with others, it came tearing down with the ginger and all his emotions came rushing out, childish or not. And this applied in both volleyball and their love life.

"What?" Hinata whispered in confusion as his struggling stopped and he sat still in Ushijima's arms.

The shiratorizawa captain took off his jersey and wrapped it around Hinata's heated body that shivered uncontrollably.

"Warm?" he asked soothingly and Hinata nodded.

"Yeah, very."

The older one smiled before lifting his sick boyfriend up and sat them on bed.

"Wait I'll ge- *cough cough* I'll get you ill!" Hinata protested but Ushijima ignored his pleas as they flopped down together and cuddled against each other.

"I bet Tendou's ability to be weird that I won't get ill."

Hinata smiled weakly as he rubbed his cheeks against Ushijima's chest and nodded.

The heartbeat thumping in his ear was making him confused as to who it belonged too, although either way, it didn't really matter.

"I love you...." he sighed as he drifted off to sleep and Ushijima patted the ginger locks as his own eyes felt heavy. He didn't get much sleep since he was worrying about his boyfriend the day before after all.

"I love you too Hinata." he sighed as his eyes closed and they fell asleep snuggling.
