Although it was weird, he didn't question it as he got onto Atsumu's back and put on the blindfold. It took everything to not peek.
They then ran forward for a little bit, and two more turns later, they stopped.
Hinata clung tighter nervously as he heard chatter followed by a hushing before Atsumu walked forward again.
"Can I take it off yet?" Hinata asked and he felt Atsumu's hair shake in his face.
"Nope~ not yet!"
It was only when the Atsumu started to shake a little when Hinata panicked.
"What's going on???"
"Just one more minute okay?" Atsumu asked and Hinata clung tighter from now fear. It felt like the whole floor was shaking.
The minute passed and finally, Atsumu put him down.
The floor under him was still shaking slightly but it was smoother now as Hinata slowly took off the blindfold.
"Woah!!!......"
They were quite high up in the sky in a lift that moved steadily up.
(I'm kinda making it up since it's not a real thing/basing this of real life as I've been to a similar building)
Hinata looked down as he recognized exactly where they were now. He forgot the sky garden building was just a few streets away from the shopping district and the alley run had confused his already horrible sense of direction.
"Did I surprise you?" Asked Atsumu as he wrapped an arm around Hinata's waist
The ginger blushed as they nodded. It was only 5pm but the sky was now filling with a few more clouds, no longer clear like it was at midday.
The lift reached the 51st floor which was actually a sky garden with a restaurant.
Atsumu lead the way and with a flash of his phone to show his digital ticket, the two were escorted to a bench surrounded by plants that overlooked the city.
"They make good sushi sets, wanna try?" Atsumu asked and Hinata nodded.
A few minutes later, plates of different sushi were put before them like a picnic and Hinata smiled as they just idly chattered as they ate.
"Say ah~!" Atsumu said as he held one to Hinata's lips.
The ginger blushed but timidly opened his mouth to take a bite and smiled as it was delicious.

(This is something like what they got lol, I went to a really good restaurant literally yesterday even though the roof was only 3rd floor. Ignore my sis' iPad in the pic tho lol)
As they ate, somehow family came up as conversation.
"eeeeh? Atsumu you have a twin???" Hinata gasped as he turned away from his food.
"yeah, he's super mean! He's good at cooking though so he does that side of the chores...." Atsumu said as he grumbled about a certain brother of his.
"I have a little sister called Natsu and well... We both help with chores but we somehow always end up fighting" Hinata sighed as he smiled. "It gets messy quick! Can you believe her? She filled my bed with ice last Tuesday just because I didn't wake up when she called me!" Hinata fumed but then evilly grinned.
"That's why I woke 10 minutes earlier than her yesterday just to pour ice in her bed!"
They laughed as Hinata talked about his sibling warfare and soon, they were too stuffed to take another bite.
After they were done, Hinata smiled as he watched the clouds in the sky turn a deep shade of pinks and oranges as the sun had started to set.
It was half six and their date was coming to an end.
They walked together hand in hand back towards the place where they first met up.
"Are you sure you don't want me to walk you home?" Atsumu asked and Hinata smiled.
"No, I'm getting picked up from here in a few minutes so it's okay." he reassured and Atsumu sighed. It wasn't that he was worried, he just didn't want to part with the angel he had fallen for.
"Did you have fun?" he asked hoping that Hinata understood his feelings as he remembered something. "Oh here!" He smiled before passing over a gift.
Hinata opened it and saw the tangerine bean bag plush he saw earlier and gave a bright beam. The sky behind him made the boy seem so soft and Atsumu pulled the Hinata close.
"I wish time would stop you know..."
He then lifted Hinata's face up and leaned forward to give a small peck to Hinata's lips.... At least he tried to but panicked and kissed Hinata's nose instead.
Hinata blushed and smiled at the cute gesture however, thinking it was on purpose and got onto his tippy toes to give Atsumu a peck on the cheek.
"I can see why the girls were saying I was lucky to be picked yesterday. You really did make today probably one of the best days in my life. I'll never forget it Atsumu."
Atsumu looked shocked as he got onto both his knees. "Wait no, I didn't mean for it to end in one day Hinata! I really do love you!"
Hinata smiled and laughed.
"Yeah yeah, I love you too Atsumu! Thank you so much for today! I really hope I get to see you again, even if it's on court!"
Hinata hugged Atsumu back before letting go as he saw a familiar car.
"I got to go now!"
He gave Atsumu another peck on the cheek as farewell and ran towards the car.
"Bye!!"
"Wait Hinata you don't understand! I-..."
But it was too late, Hinata was too far away and already opening the door.
He turned to face Atsumu one last time however, before waving, and Atsumu sighed in defeat.
"I wasn't able to tell him I meant that confession..."
He then shook his head, "No, I'll just tell him next time and surprise him by telling him my feelings are real... Yeah that's what I'll do!"
Although that car looked familiar...
He headed home as he looked at his hand remembering the soft grip of Hinata's from just a few minutes ago.
Well, guess I'll kill time until midnight when when Samu comes home...
