x Hinata One Shots

Atsumu IV

"Where's you bike?" Suga asked Hinata as the ginger walked right passed the bike shed one afternoon after practice.

"Huh? Oh! Not today!" Hinata replied in short sentences as he fidgeted with his fingers before hurriedly waving goodbye.

The others waved back as Hinata ran off and the curiosity of Nishinoya and Tanaka caused the drama duo to follow the ginger.

They were already tired and they ran after Hinata who sprinted to the other school entrance before seeing him pull a foldable skateboard from his bag and unfolded it before skating off.

"Wah?" the duo questioned as they looked at each other and shrugged.

"We are so following tomorrow." Nishinoya smirked and Tanaka nodded.

The next day, the same thing happened again but this time, the duo had brought their bikes too as they hopped on and quickly follow the ginger.

"Should we video call the chat?" Noya asked and Tanaka nodded. They then started the call and most of them picked up.

They watched as Hinata skated beautifully down the street and the chat was filled with notifications as none of them knew Hinata could skateboard.

"Woah did you see that?" Noya gasped as Hinata spun around a sharp corner that they had to slow down for and the chat pinged with agreement.

"Wait is that?...."

Tanaka squinted his eyes as he saw a certain person at the end of the street Hinata was clearly riding towards and a slightly angry ping came from Suga who identified it as Atsumu.

"Hey!" They could hear Hinata excitedly yell and notifications blew up as the two kissed.

They then started to skate together, interweaving as they glided down the street and a few pings later and Suga calmed down saying he didn't actually mind since their story seemed cute.

They then followed a few more minutes of just seeing Atsumu and and Hinata have a good time together, laughing with complete strangers who were also skating and a ping from Daichi telling them to go home made them stop.

"Yeah they should have their privacy, I think they're on a skating date." was the message and Noya sighed before noddomg and the two headed back.

As for Hinata, he lived the feeling of the wind brushing against his face as he skated down the street.

And Atsumu helped him overcome his fear of talking to strangers as the street life was very open.

If someone saw him skating and came up to him to give compliments, it became a norm.

Although most of his compliments were those who congratulated a middle schooler for riding a skateboard and had to be corrected that he was in high school.

They would usually then share a hearty laugh and just like that, continue their day.

Hinata was happy with this life outside volleyball since it was new and filled with fun people. Once in a while, there would be a douchebag but Atsumu usually shut them up before showing Hinata a trick to cheer him up.

Their skate date ended as Atsumu gave Hinata another hug and bumped their foreheads together for a kiss.

They then waved goodbye before skating in their own way home and when Hinata finished practice the next day after school, the team waved as Hinata said goodbye.

"Say hi to your boyfriend Atsumu 'kay?!" Suga yelled and Tanaka and Noya cheered.

"W-w-w-w-wahhhh?!?!!" Hinata stammered and blushed as he realized the others knew.

They all smiled, (well except a few) and Hinata grinned before taking out his skateboard and waved as he skated away.
