x Hinata One Shots

Kuroo

"Why do you like Shrimpy so much Kenma?" Kuroo asked out of curiosity and boredom one afternoon as Kenma continued to okay animal crossing.

"Because we can play together." the setter answered but Kuroo wasn't convinced.

"But I play with you too!"

"You're not fun to play against." Kenma spat, his mood plummeting more with each moment he got distracted.

"What? But I'm better at games than he is!" protested the boy with rooster like hair.

"Yeah but his reactions to me winning are cuter." Kenma said smiling internally.

"How's that ball of energy cute? It's exhausting to keep up with, like looking at the sun."

"Just spend a day with him and you'll see."

"Hmm..."

Maybe I will...

His next opportunity came pretty quick as they had a camp literally the week later and Kuroo watched as his team beat Karasuno in a game. He then whipped to look directly at Hinata and the ginger had no look of sadness but instead, was happy to take a flying lap before going to Kenma to compliment him.

Hinata then went around to individually congratulate everyone until Kuroo was the last one

"Kuroo!" he started and the rooster head nervously smiled. "Wassup Shrimp"

"Your blocking was amazing! The way your body went woosh up and the ball hit your hand like kapowwwww"

Kuroo  gave the sunshine an odd look, he never noticed how happy he looked to talk about volleyball.

So this is what Kenma meant when he said he's cute...

The happy smile that stretched his soft slightly red cheeks that were flushed from the intense game...

I kinda want to kis-

"Kuroo?"

Blinking and drawing his face back, Kuroo blushed a little as he saw that he was about to give Hinata a kiss with his hand on Hinata's soft skin.

"umm..." he looked around as he saw all eyes on him and panicked.

"you were great too Shrimpy!!!"

He pinched Hinata's cheek and smiled broadly before drawing back and patting the sunshine on the back.

"it was a great game!"

Hinata smiled and nodded before running to his own team and Kuroo watched as he skipped away.
