Rose's POV:

"Rose," I hear Maddy's voice. "Come on," I feel Maddy shake me.

"Her eyes are fluttering," I hear Keeho say softly.

"Give her a second," Nina whispers.

"Did she die?" Theo asks.

"No you dumbass," Intak says then I hear a smacking sound and Theo groan.

"She had a panic attack," Maddy says. "Theo who was she on the phone with?"

"I don't know," Theo sighs. "I didn't hear her say a name."

"You guys are loud," I whisper and open my eyes. I see Maddy sitting right beside me, Keeho is standing over the bed, Intak and Theo are standing a bit away from me, and Nina is standing by Keeho. "What happened?" I sit up slowly.

"You passed out," Maddy says gently, rubbing my back. "Who were you on the phone with?"

"I don't remember," I lie. "Maybe my mom?"

"Check your call log," Nina says and reaches for my phone. I grab it quickly and put it under my thigh.

"It was my mom, I remember now," I glance at Maddy. She squints at me.

"You're lying," she points her finger. "What are you lying about?"

"Nothing!" I slide off of the bed and grip my phone. "Nothing," I whisper and take a deep breath. Nina sighs and reaches into her bag. "I need to take your temperature now," she says. "I took the others and they're all normal, if you're normal you don't have to stay in here anymore."

"Can we back track for a second," Keeho crosses his arms. "Why would your mom make you pass out?"

"Maybe I had low blood sugar," I watch Nina put the no touch thermometer to my head. "I don't know," I whisper.

"Okay it's normal," Nina nods.

"You're stressing yourself too much," Maddy tilts her head. "We should go get drinks, and have a girls night, get us back into a healthy spirit."

"Tonight?" I ask, gripping my phone so tight I look down seeing my knuckles turn white.

"Yeah, if you're feeling up to it," Maddy stands up and puts an arm around my shoulder. "If you feel too sick we don't have to." I loosen my grip on my phone. I need to relax.

"No no," I smile a bit. "That sounds like fun," I nod.

"Okay," Maddy smiles. "Nina we would love for you to come."

"We? But rose didn't say anything..." Nina laughs.

"We share a brain, I know what she's thinking," Maddy moves her arm from my shoulder. "Well it's 4pm right now, so let's meet at the front entrance at 6?"

"Okay," Nina smiles wide. "Fun!"

"Fun indeed," I laugh a bit, pushing down my anxiety. I look to Theo, but he isn't looking at me. He sticks his hands in his pocket.
