Rose's POV:

"If you don't get your ass up..." I feel a pillow hit my head. I open my eyes groggily and see Maddy standing over me. "Up!"

"Hm?" I sit up and rub my eyes, confused. "What?"

"Theo is at practice. I've been waiting for you to get up, and now I have to go run errands so, up! You need to go to the practice room!" She sets the pillow in my lap. I move the pillow off of me and stand up. I look down at what clothes I slept in. I shrug and grab my phone.

"Okay," I say, my eyes still trying to adjust to waking up so suddenly. "Okay," I whisper again and walk past her, but Maddy grabs my arm. I yelp in pain and yank my arm back from her. She holds her hands up.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was that arm..." she looks at me wide eyed.

"It's fine," I whisper and hold my arm to my chest. Everything just feels off. I give her a weak smile. "Why did you grab my arm in the first place?"

"I wanted a hug," she laughs weakly. I take in a deep breath and walk up to her. I wrap my arms around her and she wraps her arms around me. "Go run errands, I'll see you later okay?"

"Okay," she pats my back and pulls away. I pick a piece of lint off of her shirt and turn, walking out of the door. I head to the practice room and stand by the opening. I don't really wanna walk in and have all of these people rush me. I don't want them to stare at me either. I take in a small breath and walk in, keeping my eyes to the ground. I walk over to the corner of the room and sit down, still not looking at anyone. The loud music blares as the boys practice their dance. I glance up at them and make eye contact with Keeho. He raises his eyebrows at me, I give him an awkward smile and look back down to my hands. I roll up my sleeve on my right arm slightly, and look at the bandage. It has some blood soaking through but not a lot. I pull my sleeve down and lean my head back on the wall. I shut my eyes and let the music drown out my thoughts.

"Rose?" A familiar voice says by my ear. I jump, not having heard anyone come in. I glance over and see Soojin. I blink. "I didn't mean to scare you, can we talk for a bit?" She asks gently, I can barely hear her over the music.

"Where did you come from?" I ask, my heart pounding remembering how John snuck up on me.

"I was sitting on the couch over there," she motions to the couch by the back wall. "I was waiting for you to get here so we can talk."

"Oh, I didn't even see you," I stand up and she stands with me.

"That's okay," she gives me a soft smile. "Let's go to a private room okay?"

"Alright," I nod. I glance over to Theo, he wasn't looking at me. I turn back to Soojin and give her nod. We walk out of the practice room, and head to the meeting room. I walk in first and sit down in the first chair. Soojin walks and sits down across from me. "What do we need to discuss?"

"What happened a few nights ago," she opens a note pad. "We have John in custody," she starts slow. "But..." she looks up at me. "We need to hear your side of the story. We already talked to," she looks down at her notes. "Keeho and Theo," she looks back at me. "But we need to hear it from you. We also need to discuss court dates.."

"Court dates?" I sit up straight. "What?"

"Rose," she sets her pen down. "As much as you want him to be gone, I want him to be gone ten times more. We will need you to testify in court to make sure he stays away longer." I feel my heart beating. I'll have to face him.
