Roses POV:

I wake up, feeling way too hot. I kick the blankets off of myself and sniff the air. I just barely smell food. I sit up and see Theo eating in the corner. I rub my eyes and yawn. "What are you eating?"

"Keeho brought breakfast," he says without looking at me. "It's soup again," he nods. I get up slowly and walk to the bowl on the dresser. I grab it and sit down. I don't use a spoon, I just slowly sip on it.

"Okay," I look at him, he's looking at his phone while he eats. "Thank you for giving me the blanket, did you sleep okay?" I study his face, it looks like he didn't sleep.

"Yeah I slept fine," he looks at me, then back to his phone.

"Cool," I sip more. "How are you feeling?"

"Meh," he shrugs. "Better than yesterday I guess," he says quietly.

"I still feel really sick," I whisper and hold the warm bowl in my hands. "I hope it goes away soon."

"Yeah me too," Theo says. "So I can get away from your snoring." I put my hand over my mouth.

"I snore?" I shut my eyes.

"Yeah," he says and I open my eyes. I watch him set his empty bowl down on the tray. I look at my bowl and take a big sip, the soup is lukewarm.

"I didn't even realize I did that," I laugh a bit and take another sip, finishing the soup. I set the bowl down. "I have to use the restroom," I stretch as I stand. I walk to the bathroom and shut the door. "Um," I call to him. "Can you make noise so you don't hear me pee?"

"Just pee," he says.

"I can't if you're listening!" I tap my foot. "Please?"

"Fine," I hear him start to hum loudly. I smile and sit down on the toilet.

Maddy's POV:

I tap the wall, waiting for Rose to tap back. I look at Jiung. "What if she's dead?" I ask him, anxiety filling my body. I tap harder. This is the first time Rose and I have been without each other like this. I tap even harder.

"I'm sure she's fine," Jiung opens his computer, and goes to Disney plus. He hits play on Toy Story. "Come watch," he says with a smile.

"I can't," I whisper and sniffle. "I need to know she's okay."

"Okay," Jiung turns off the movie, taps around on his computer, then I hear soft piano music. "Just relax, she's okay. She's with Theo."

"That doesn't make me feel better," I shake my head and take a deep breath. "You're right, she's probably fine." I say slowly. I lay back on the bed and move over. "You can come lay down too, I'm sure the floor sucked to lay on."

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"Yes," I nod and roll over, facing the wall. I shut my eyes, counting my breaths. Trying to calm down. I'm sure she's okay, I'm sure of it. I feel Jiung lay down, and I exhale a deep breath. I curl up under the covers, and let my body relax. My eyes grow heavy, my mind goes blank.
