Part 15 - Rose

"Thank you," I say to Theo as he holds the door open for me. He nods and walks out after me. "What were you planning on doing after this?" I ask him.

"Nothing," He shrugs and puts his hands in his pockets.

"Do you want to go get ice cream?" I smile up at him. He looks down at me.

"No," He takes a deep breath. "But I'll see you back at the dorms," He turns and starts walking. I have no idea where he is going. I frown and wave goodbye at his back. I look down at my phone and open Tinder, and see that Daniel unmatched with me. I sigh and go to shut off my phone when another message from Junghoon comes in. I tick my head to the side and open it.

Junghoon: How are you doing today Rose?

I smile and start typing back.

Me: I'm okay! I'm out and about right now, how are you?

Junghoon: I'm good :) I would be much better seeing you in person though.

I feel my cheeks heat up. I bite my bottom lip and look to the sky. I decide to just walk back to the company building.

Me: You're too cute! Do you want to see each other soon?

Junghoon: How about tomorrow? We can go to the park or see a movie?

Me: How about the park? That seems like fun!

Junghoon: Okay, what park and what time gorgeous

I squeal a little and look up from my phone, I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around, seeing a man in a hat looking down, trailing behind me. I turn and speed up my walk. I hear him pick up his pace too. I feel my heart beating fast. I look behind me, practically running, seeing the man running after me. I run into something and fall on top of it, not something. Him. "Rose what.." Theo pushes me off. I stand up and look behind me. The man isn't there anymore. I heave and hold my chest. My phone is now in Theos hands. He was staring at it. I take it out of his hands.

"Sorry," I whisper and blink my eyes. "Someone was following me and I got scared." I see his eyes widen and he turns around to where I came from. He clenches his fists.

"Who?" He asks

"I.." I look down at my phone seeing a message from the unknown number, who I now know is John. I feel my breathing get heavy. Was he the one following me? I go to look at Theo, but he's gone. I clench my phone, trying so hard not to cry. I turn around and yelp, seeing the man with the hat right in front of me.

"You dropped this," He says to me, handing me my wallet. I stare at the wallet and take it from him.

"Oh, thank you," I whisper. He nods and walks past me. I turn and watch him leave, he's wearing a blue hat with a NY symbol on it, but I swore he was wearing a blue hat with nothing on it, and that jacket... he wasn't wearing that.. was he? I turn back and jump, Theo now in front of me. "Why do people keep jump scaring me," I sigh and wipe under my eyes.

"Sorry," He purses his lips. "I'll walk back to the company building with you." He says and looks down at my phone. I look down at it too, seeing John calling me. I decline, open my phone and block that number. I look back to Theo.

"Okay," I whisper, we start walking. "Hey Theo?"

"Hm?"

"What are some good parks to go to around here?" I ask him.

"Not sure, why?" He side glances at me.

"I have a date tomorrow and he wants me to pick a park for 3pm," I look down at my phone, opening tinder.
