The list. 15. Rose

"Okay," I shift. "Should we just walk to your house?" I hand the list back to Maddy. Theo gets off of the bed and stands by me.

"Since it's not far," Maddy nods.

"Be safe guys," Anna gives us a small smile. I give her a small smile back. All of us walk outside, after Chase shuts the door, Nina spins around.

"Listen here you little shit," Nina crosses her arms. "There's a bus stop five minutes from here, so take your misogynistic ass there and don't come around again." Chase looks at Maddy and I, like for some sort of back up. We look away from him.

"Whatever. You guys are lame now anyways," chase shoves past us and heads down the road.

"Youre ugly anyways!" Nina calls to him. I bite my tongue to keep from laughing.

"What a dick," Maddy shivers. "He was never like that."

"I know," I sigh. "Germany must have really changed him," I go to Maddy and hook my arm with hers, like always, and start walking to her house. Nina runs to my other side and hooks her arm with mine. Keeho and Theo walking behind us.

"I wish there wasn't so much light pollution, I bet you, the stars look wonderful," Nina says quietly.

"I'm sure they do," I nod to her. We walk the rest of the way in silence, the only sounds around are dogs barking and bugs buzzing.

"Here," Maddy says as her house comes into view. "My mom and Zeena went to go stay at a friends house, so we have the house to ourselves."

"Oh my god fun!" Nina says with a smile. We walk up to Maddys door and she opens it. We all step inside. "I'll get the drinks!"

"Theyre in the fridge, let me set up the music," Maddy walks over to a speaker. She hooks up her phone and starts playing some music at a medium volume. I spin around to Keeho, then poke his stomach.

"Uncalled for," Keeho groans holding his stomach.

"I've missed you," I say to him, walking and wrapping my arms around his sides. He wraps his arms around me.

"You're clingy," Keeho laughs a bit.

"Rude!" I pull back. "Fine I'll never miss you again, dumbass."

"I was kidding, drama queen. I missed you too," Keeho smiles. "Imma help Nina, she seems to be struggling," He walks over to Nina, I turn around. She's trying to take all the bottles out of the carrier and carry them to the counter. She's definitely not the brightest.

"Rose, come here a sec," Maddy calls. I go over to her. "Do you wanna get some snacks from the basement?"

"I forgot you have a basement," I laugh a bit. "It's scary In there dude."

"Suck it up," Maddy laughs and shakes her head.

"I'll go with you," Theo says. I smile.

"Okay good," I nod and go to the basement door. I open it and walk down the stairs. "Isn't it creepy?" I say to Theo. But he doesn't answer. I stop at the bottom of the stairs and hear the basement door shut. I freeze. "Theo?" Nothing. "Theo I-"

"Boo!" Theo grabs my waist, making me nearly shit myself.

"Don't do that!" I turn and smack his arm.

"It was just too good of an opportunity not to," Theo says. I can hear a smile in his voice.

"Blah blah," I run my hand on the wall until I feel the light switch. I turn on the light and turn to Theo glaring at him. "Asshole," I say, but end up smiling, which makes him smile. I walk to the shelves full of snacks. I grab down some chips and cookies. Theo grabs some candy and another bag of chips.
