Kanya-kanya kaming alis sa lunch table kaya pumunta nalang ako sa band practice nila Lourd, and obviously wala si Lourd. Naman, nandun na naman siguro yun dun. Tssk. Lagi nalang.

But anyway, naghahanda na para practice sila Nayumi, Angelo at Cristoff ng mapansin kung me pumasok sa music room.

Antonia?

Nakangiti sya sakin at maganda ang aura.

"hai.." sweet nyang sabi kaya napatampal ako sa noo. Hanggang dito ba naman?

"anong ginagawa mo rito?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"I invited her." bigla namang sabat ni Nayumi na agad bumati kay Antonia.

"you what??" hostile kong sabi.

"I invited her. Invited is a verb which means asking politely or formally to do something or go somewhere." plain na sabi ni Nayumi. She's one hell of a scarecrow.

I rolled my eye. "I know what it mean. What I mean is why did you invite her?"

"well, I believe I have the right to invite her or anyone I like. Especially since she is a friend of Alea. Am I right?"

"yes. .actually. .kapatid ako ng fiance nya." nakangiti nyang sabi.

This child is impossible!

"see. .and she's going to be our manager since marami syang kilala. Plus she loves music."

"yeah right. .pumayag ba si Lourd dito? The other member?" naiinis kong tanong. Dito na nga lang ang tambayan ko habang nakikinig sa practice tapos me asungot pa.

"yes. Even if ayaw nya. Wala syang choice. Besides even Dreux recommended her."

Napaangat ang kilay ko. "Dreux?"

"Yes. Dreux. .basketball Dreux Ford Velasquez. Hot and hot tempered man with ice cold emotions."

"right." Pigil kong sabi.

"why are you so against it? Not that it would matter but, kung di kasi kita kilala I'll put na your affected with her presence."

"ofcourse not!" agad kong sagot na ikinasmirk ni Nayumi.

"so it'll be okay if you stay here while Antonia is here?"

Shoot! Napatingin ako ke Antonia na medyo nahihiya at namumula. Goodness kung humindi ako it would mean that I am affected which is not the case.

"ofcourse. Ill be more than fine."

"Good. Cause Antonia too is my co-vocalist. Dreux said she knows how to sing."

What so f*cked about Dreux knowing everything about Antonia when Antonia is pursuing me, not to mention kami ang magkababata ni Antonia bago sila umalis at kailan lang sila ni Dreux nagkita. I was the one to introduce them pa nga.

"okay." nasabi ko nalang habang naghahanap ng mauupuan. Naglabas ng phone at maglalaro o magbibusy-busihan nalang ako.

Minutes past at nakapagset na ang banda, si Nayumi ang nag drums dahil wala si Lourd at si Antonia ang lead vocals muna. Pero sabi ni Antonia duet daw sila some parts.

Napa-angat ako ng tingin nag magsimulang kumanta si Antonia. She sing like an angel.

Napatulala ako sandali. Panong??-- dati kasi mahilig lang syang magthrow ng tantrums at magpout. I didn't know she sings or -------shoot. That's why she loves music cause music too loves her. How the hell on earth nalaman ni Dreux ang talent ni Antonia when they just knew each other for a fudgin' two days? And why on earth am I even feeling affected? No. Im just paranoid. Saka si Alex naman ang gusto ni Dreux diba? I mean, it has to be her kasi wala naman syang dinedate at pinagkakaabalahang babae. Isa pa si Alex lang ang babaeng natagalan ni Dreux with his temper and all. Kay Alex lang sya lenient and somewhat patient.
