The human child actually did it.
They actually brought you to the surface.
Your (f/c) flames were turning bright yellow in the middle, excitement and happiness running through you with each beat of your soul.
This meant you wouldn't have to deal with the icy Snowdin days anymore, now you could enjoy the sunshine you'd so long heard about and craved. It also meant your brother's business would grow, and seeing him joyfully in his element (no pun intended!~) makes you happiest.
A few weeks went by as you and Grillby got a new home on the surface. It was one of those buildings where the bar was below and the house part was the second floor.
Eventually, monster kind had completely settled in, and business was great for you and Grillby. You even had a drive-thru now!
Other than you and Grillby, a few monsters and humans took up taking orders and delivering food, leaving you and Grillby to tend to the kitchen and drive-thru areas.
Grillby mostly left the drive-thru to you, seeing as he was the more quiet sibling. Besides, he liked hearing your cheerful voice, it helped him get through the busy days.
Yet today, it seemed the customers were be a little problematic.
By that, I mean people yelling at the drive-thru.
"Uh, yeah? Chewbacca, uh? I'm bleedin' from the ears here, pachino. Let's calm down! Alright, we're dealing with food not missiles here, governor, now drive around!"
From your peripherals you could see Grillby trying not to lose it, his orange flames an array of different colors as he tried not to laugh and worked to get the orders done.
Once you got the customers order (and a sheepish, apologetic grin from them), the rest of the day, thankfully, went by with no issues.
"Today sure was eventful, wasn't it, (Y/n?)" Grillby hummed, shedding his shoes at the door.
Glancing up upon receiving no response, he smiled once he saw you already asleep on the couch, clearly worn out from the day.
He scooped you up off the couch, not minding as you clung to him as he carried you off to your room.
