Humming Another Medium to yourself, you tidied up at your desk, gathering all your things in preparation to go home. It had been a long day, full of lectures/meetings and paperwork. Seeing the sun further into the afternoon sky, you put your things in your bag and waved goodbye to your friends.
The crisp, autumn air greeted you as you stepped out of the building. Conversation flowed around you as you stepped into the crowded streets, no one paying you any mind.
Birds were singing above you, fluttering from tree branch to rooftop and back again.
It was peaceful, and as you paused to glance up at the colorful sky, a hand clamped down over your mouth, and you were dragged into an alleyway, you vision quickly going dark.

Geno stared out the living room window, his expression getting more and more worried with each minute that passed.
"Is she still not here?" Fresh piped up, passing by with a basket of laundry.
"Still not here..." Geno confirmed, mouth twisting into a worried frown, his hands absentmindedly wringing the end of his scarf.
Fresh hummed, worry beginning to etch it's way into his expression as well before he moved into the laundry room. Geno turned at the creak of the wooden stairs, spotting Error with his phone.
The dull ringing continued before it stopped, the familiar sound of your voicemail coming from the other end.
"NoThInG." Error sighed, scowling down at your unresponsive contact screen like it betrayed him.
"Do we need to go out and search?" Fresh asked as he returned from the laundry room.
"Wouldn't hurt. She doesn't ignore her phone like that. Plus she's got her charger, so it shouldn't be dead." Geno replied, slipping away to leave a note in case you came home while they were gone.

You awoke slowly, finding yourself blindfolded and tied up.
"You grabbed the wrong one you idiot!"
"It's not my fault she looks so much like them!"
You first instinct was to kick whoever was near you, and seeing as your legs weren't properly tied to the chair, you received a satisfying groan of pain as you foot came into contact with what felt like a stomach or groin area.
"You deserved that." The second voice replied, most likely watching the first lay in pain on the floor.
Sadly, before you could move any further, they stepped forward to properly tie your legs to the chair.
"Don't even think about moving, skeleton." They hissed, "That glitchy freak and his buddies have caused enough problems for us."
'Did Error get into another fight?' you thought, hearing the two of them exit the room. You knew Error had trouble controlling his anger at times, and so you made a mental note to try and keep your brothers from arguing over fault in the future.
The last thing you wanted was them fighting over who got you kidnapped.
You had half a mind to teleport out of the chair you were in, but that would be too dangerous without knowing your location and surroundings.
Just as you began to attempt to free yourself, you heard a crash upstairs. It was followed by several strings of censored cursing, and in just a few minutes the cloth around your eye sockets was removed to reveal Fresh. A glance to the doorway showed Error and Geno chasing your kidnappers.
"Are you okay?" Fresh asked, untying you from the chair.
"I'm alright." You replied, holding his arm as you steadied yourself on your feet.
Without wasting any time, he led you up the stairs from the basement, holding out an arm to protect you as one of your panicking kidnappers ran past the doorway.
Geno and Error appeared a moment later, and deeming your kidnappers had learned their lesson, decided it was time to head home.
Turned out, that your kidnappers had made a rude comment about you that your brothers overheard, and Error nearly lost it and would've hurt them had Geno and Fresh not been there.
You were grateful your brothers weren't mad with each other about the whole ordeal, and you were sure they were glad to see it didn't affect you in any way.
You quickly went back to daily life, going to work/school, coming home to your brothers, and watching them lightly bicker over small things you oftentimes found far too silly to bicker about.
Life hadn't changed much, but now you knew your brothers would drop everything, even their rivalries, to keep you safe.

(In case you didn't see the message earlier, take a guess as to which story I'm planning to revamp from my old account (UndertaleKyannaKitty)!)
