(me, humming: Now's your chance to be a [BIG SHOT]!~)
(Prob not gonna finish it but I did a quick and lazy sketchy of the funny salesman)
Requested by the lovely corvid, @LuckyStarCat!~You weeped quietly, looking around the white void that used to be your home. You'd seen some weird skeleton take it away, leaving you behind.
You heard another portal open behind you, and fearing the weird glitchy skeleton again, you gasped and began running.
"Hey wait!"
Your fear didn't let you acknowledge the different sound voice, and you sprinted across the white void as much as you could, only to be stopped when someone suddenly appeared in your vision. You yelped as you crashed into their stomach, quick to stumble back away from them.
"Hey, hey!" They tried to soothe you, "It's alright! No need to be so scared."
You looked up through your tears to see a skeleton, with multicolored pupils and a brown scarf. He continued as he crouched to your height. "Can you tell me what happened?"
It took a moment for you to respond, your breath hitching slightly. "S-Scary... weird skeleton... came a-and... and..."
You glanced around the empty space, not entirely what that weird skeleton did.
"Error..." the older skeleton murmured, glancing around before turning back to you. "My name's Ink. I can't do much for your home, but I can bring you with me so you aren't so alone."
You looked back at Ink, slowly nodding as you took his hand. In a flash, you were in a golden space, and a glance upwards showed papers, all labeled something different.
"This is the Doodle Sphere, it's where I reside." Ink explained, taking out a brush and painting a few things to life to make it more homey. "And now it's where you can reside!"It's been a few years since that day, Ink has been dealing with Error over and over, and you've begun to learn Ink's tricks in order to aid him. Supplied with a pencil as your weapon, much like Ink's brush, Ink would take time each day to teach you how to use it in battle, as well as practice with portals.
"(Y/n)!"
You looked up from the AU you were watching over, turning to see Ink, who sounded frazzled.
"What is it?!"
"I need you to come with me! Error's causing a huge ruckus!"
You nodded, summoning your weapon and following Ink through his puddle portal. In seconds if emerging, Error was suddenly in front of you, and next thing you knew his strings had begun to fling you. Thinking quickly, you slashed with your pencil, cutting the strings with ease and landing on your feet.
Error was now in between you and Ink, and almost telepathically you both shot off, creating walls with your weapons to try and trap Error in. Strings sliced through your attempt, once more entangling you.
"Oh HeLlO aGaIn!" Error grinned at you, but it was far from friendly. "I tHoUgHt I'd GoTtEn RiD oF yOu YeArS aGo!"
"You should've tried harder!" You shouted, distracting him long enough for Ink to slash across his back, effectively making him let go of you.
Seeing his chances dropping, Error was quick to flee, and Ink pulled you up from the ground to pursue him.
"You're doing great, (Y/n)! Maybe we can stop Error for good this time!" Ink huffed, smiling proudly back at you.
"It's all thanks to the one that taught me!"(Sketch's (Inktale (Y/n)) origin story? 👀)
