You followed after Sans as he blabbered on about finding humans and hoping Papyrus wasn't asleep at his post.
Sleep.
You could do with some good ol' sleep right about now. The mere thought of it made you yawn.
"(Y/n)?"
"Hm?"
"Did you get enough sleep last night?" Sans had paused to get a better look at you, frowning at the bone-bags beginning to form under your eye sockets.
"A few hours." You admitted, scratching your cheek absentmindedly, "I was tossing and turning most of the night."
"We'll see if Undyne can make you some stronger sleeping pills for you!" He piped up, trying to make the mood more cheery.
"Thanks, Sans. I bet you 15 gold pieces is Papyrus is asleep."
"We both know he is!"
You laughed. "Alright... I bet you 15 of Papyrus' gold pieces that we find a human today!"
His face exploded into an expression of pure excitement. "Oh I hope you're right!"
You followed him along the path, and to both of your surprise...
Papyrus wasn't asleep.
"Oh wow, he isn't asleep!"
"Papyrus!" Sans stormed forward.
"Sup, bro?"
"You put that smoky filth out right now!"
You laughed at their antics, quickly taking notice of the lamp by the sentry post.
Oh Papyrus' money was yours.
You smiled softly as the human peeked out, watching your brothers before looking to you.
You waved slightly, looking towards Sans.
"Hey Sans! I think there's something behind the lamp." You winked to the human, who was stifling their giggles.
"Whatever could be behind that lamp that's more important than—GASP A HUMAN!"
You broke into a fit of your own giggles as Sans freaked out.
"Well that's one way to distract him." Papyrus hummed as he joined you at your side.
"By the way, you owe me money."
"Did you two bet with my money again?"
"Maaaaybe~"

You sighed as you rested your head on the counter of your post. Your brothers and the human were out doing things, and you had to do a few things in the meantime.
But you had finished those over half an hour ago, and your sleep deprivation was getting to you.
While it wasn't the best place, sleep was sleep and you needed it.

Chara walked along the snowy path, leaving Sans and Papyrus to go look for you. They stumbled upon your stand, finding you fast asleep.
"Human!"
Chara jumped about a foot in the air, doing a double-take between you and your brothers.
Running towards them, Chara waved their hands a bit, telling them to stay quiet. They then pointed to your stand, where you were fast asleep.
"At least it's some sleep." Papyrus hummed, going over and carefully picking you up without disturbing your slumber.
"I'll take them on home, you two go on ahead."
Sans and Chara nodded, watching as Papyrus carried you home.

Once you got the pills from Undyne, sleep was a little more manageable for you, and it was clear that it made your brothers happier to see you getting the rest you needed.
And you totally didn't use Papyrus' money to buy Chara cinnabuns.
Most definitely not.
