You awoke to the human staring down at you. You both were in a dark void, and your first instinct was to lash out.
The human backpedaled away from you, and the abrupt movement reminded you of how you died. You were left clutching your neck, a choked sound leaving you.
The human had slashed your throat, much like they did with Papyrus.
And it seems whatever cruel reality you two seem to be stuck in, you can't speak either.
You glared up at the human, slowly and shakily getting to your feet.
They silently pointed in some random direction, and when you followed it, you saw some weird light in the distance.
Narrowing your eyes suspiciously towards the human, you slowly walked to where they were pointing.
They didn't follow you, at least.
As you grew closer and closer to the spot, you could make out what looked to be a save screen and...
You stumbled on your own two feet, causing the person to spin around.
Tears flooded your eyes as you ran forward, throwing your arms around your brother Sans, not caring about the blood or the glitch in his face.
He wasted no time to hug you back, shuddering out a breath.
"I thought I'd lost you for good..." He murmured, pulling back to look at the slash mark on your neck.
Wincing, he met your gaze again. "Can you speak at all?"
You shook your head, seeing the anger and sadness cross over his face. He glared at the human over your shoulder, gently tugging you closer and sat down with you.
"...Even if we're trapped here forever, I'm glad you're here with me, (Y/n)."
You smiled warmly, leaning against Sans' shoulder as you began to doze off.
You'd ask him about what happened to him later.
