(Second fav AU!!!)

You happily followed the rhythmic tap-tap-tap-tap through the snow, humming quietly to yourself, your meat cleaver swinging at your side.
You reached up, scritching at the crack in your face. It ran from your right eye, trailing up to the back of your skull.
Undick had put it there, trying to see if you had power like Sans did. Trying to power the CORE again to prevent the depletion of resources.
But of course, it didn't work, but you luckily came out far less scathed than your eldest brother.
Tap-tap-tap-tap.
The sound reached your senses again, and with more pep in your step, you waltzed up to Sans' station.
"Hello, Saaans!~" you sang, waving cheerfully to him.
"Hello (Y/n)."
Tap-tap-tap-tap.
"How are you today?" You asked, happily plopping yourself on a stool next to the bench, very nearly chopping your own leg off as you set your cleaver down.
"Oh the usual."
"Any aches?" You asked, pointing to the spot where his skull was cracked on your own, your feet beginning to swing back and forth as your body swayed to its own strange song.
Sans shook his head, giving you an easy smile before his gaze was drawn to something behind you.
You had a feeling he was lying, given he was scratching the inside of his socket again, but you left him be, smiling creepily to yourself as you turned to follow his gaze.
A human! Dressed in dusky purple.
She eyed you two for a moment before turning, heading towards the hill that led to Snowdin.
"Do you think she'll try Papyrus' spaghetti!?" You gasped, an excited grin overtaking your face.
"Maybe." Sans smiled back, resting his head on his arms as he slowly fell asleep.Eventually, Papyrus passed by, going on about how the wonderful human has tried his spaghetti.
She even said it was amazing!
"Oh that's amazing Papyrus!" You followed him along, watching as he began mapping out his puzzles in the snow.
You glanced back, seeing the human padding up. You blinked and gave her a rather unsettling grin before crouching down next to Papyrus, helping him with his planning.
"Go ahead and talk with Sans for a bit, human!" You chirped, catching her attention, "He'll answer almost any question you have."
"You will want to have a full head as well as a full stomach if you wish to partake in my puzzles, human! You don't want to meet your doom weak do you?"
The human shuddered, tentatively stepping up to Sans.
When he looked like he was going to refuse, you shot him a crazed smile.
Sans rolled his eye for a moment, but complied and answered the humans questions.
"So, Papyrus, whatcha thinkin'?"
"Well, dearest brother, I was thinking we'd send the human through the spike traps, the electric maze, and then the color floor!"
"Sounds good!" You remarked, glancing over your shoulder in time to see Sans blocking the humans path going further north. "And if they get through all three?"
"Then you may happily hunt them as you wish! I know it's been some time since you got to chase anything worthwhile."
You smiled, a weird mix of warm and sadistic. "Aw Papyrus, I'm touched! You think so much of me!"The human stumbled out of the spike traps, falling into the slushy snow with a fwump!
"Come on! Time to get up human!" You chirped, watching as Sans hoisted her off the ground.
She was practically begging for a breather.
"Sorry! The only breather you can get will be the short walk between this puzzle and the next!" Papyrus called, leading the way to the electric maze.
"Don't worry! If you can get through the next two puzzles, I'll make your death a quick one!"
The human shuddered, hurrying on ahead to walk with Papyrus. You didn't blame her, Papyrus was probably the most harmless one out of all of you.
The electric maze went smoother expected, the human coming out of it with only a few shocks.
Lucky thing probably felt the electricity coming off the invisible walls around her feet.
The color floor went smoothly as well, the human having grasped the concept of the colors in just two explanations and managed to get lucky enough on the combination.
Poor thing ended up crashing onto you in an attempt to flee from the electric shock the yellow and blue tiles gave her, turning as pale as a ghost when she realized who she backed up against.
"Congratulations on finishing my puzzles, human! I hope you enjoyed them as much as we did!" Papyrus cheered, patting her on the head.
Sans gave a sadistic smile. "Hope you like running next, causing that's what you'll be doing!"
You watched as the human hesitantly glanced up at you. "I'll give you a head start."
The human pushed off of you without a second thought, running away as fast as her little skinny legs would allow.
You cackled, hefting your cleaver over one shoulder as you began to follow at a slow pace.
Once the human had gained some ground, you picked up your pace.
You weren't really going to kill her, just scare her a bit.
You came to like her too much after all.
"I thought you were gonna hunt, (Y/n)." Sans hummed, finding you at the edge of Snowdin, watching the human stumbled her way through the town.
"You seemed so adamant about it before!" Papyrus chimed in.
"Oh, but I've unfortunately grown attached, dear brothers! Surely you must understand!"
Your brothers just shook their heads at you, watching as you rushed forward to fend off a monster that strayed to close to the human you've grown far too attached to.
