Dust sprinkled the ground, dirtying the crystal clear waters and dimming the glow of the Echo Flowers. You rushed past it however, following the sounds of battle. "(Y/n)!" came Monster Kid's terrified voice. "MK!" You shouted back, pausing to crouch to his level. "What's happening? Where's Undyne?!" "S-She's fighting the human!" He stammered, shaking as he glancing over his shoulder at a loud crash. "Oh no..." you breathed, quickly pushing him behind you. "Run MK! I'm going to go help Undyne!" Monster Kid didn't waste any time, breaking off into a run again. You could see the lights of Undyne's spears, and in response you summoned your own. Pain and heartache shot through you as your saw Undyne get hit, her newly armored form instantly crumpling to the ground. With a battle cry as fierce as your sisters, you stabbed the butt of your spear into the ground, launching yourself into the air before coming down on the human. They looked up a moment too late, your spear tearing down into their shoulder. With a screech, they pulled back, one hand clasped to their bleeding shoulder as they brandished their blade to you. "Foul brat!" You roared, your scale-like skin glittering against the natural glow of Waterfall. "I'll make sure you endure Hell before you fall!" Undyne may have been stronger, but you were far faster, making you infuriatingly hard to hit. The human would miss almost every time, while you'd nick and slice more and more scratches and wounds with your spear as you darted around them, your precise hits slipping past that Soul-Shield of theirs. After what felt like an hour of fighting, you could see them tiring quickly, and you darted in, aiming for their neck to finish the fight. It would leave you open, but you needed to finish this. Blood dripped from their lips, and you felt their blade cut through your chest like butter. Gasping for the air that left your lungs, you watched as the human crumpled to the ground, unmoving. You stumbled back, also falling to the ground. Undyne was still in the process of dusting, staying around long enough to watch your fight with a proud expression. You smiled at each other, before you both faded with the sound of trickling water in your ears.
