"Why don't you love me back?"
The both of them looked horrified and confused.
"(Y/n) what's with the nonsense?" Nightmare spoke up, stepping closer.
"Nonsense...? Where were you both? You promised me you'd come to the flower patch to spend time with me!" You could feel tears beginning to form again, "You do it all the time! You promise me you'll do something, then I'm left alone when you don't do it!"
In a rare show of anger, you stood and began storming off, too upset to look at them anymore. You walked a good number of feet before you heard one of them running up behind you.

Dream route:
"Let me make it up to you!" Dream said running up behind you.
"How?"
"We'll go home." Dream said, stepping forward and crouching down to your height, "I can reverse the effects of the apple, and you won't feel so sad anymore."
You were quiet for a long moment, before nodding. "Okay..."
You let Dream take your hand, leading you through a portal that lead you home.
Dream found a good golden apple for you this time, enchanting it to reverse the effects of the apple you ate. You eyed it with a bit of suspicion, which was expected, but Dream managed to convince you.
Soon enough, you were back to your normal self. Dream hugged you tightly, and you wasted no time in returning the hug.
"I'm sorry I caused such a mess..."
"You don't need to apologize, (Y/n), it was our fault anyways."
Dream paid you much more attention after that, and you both worked to reverse the effects on Nightmare.

Nightmare route:
"(Y/n)?"
"What do you want, Nightmare?"
"I come with a proposal, of course."
"...What kind...?"
"Dream kept dragging me around in our world that day, it's why I wasn't at the tree."
You nodded slowly, remembering how Dream gets excited and drags the nearest person along with him.
"So why don't we get back at him? I feel terrible for making you feel like you had to go to such an extreme. We aren't the same as we were before this, but we can be stron—"
You cut him off by rushing forward and hugging him, tears of relief escaping you when he returned the embrace without hesitation.
"I'm here now."
You and Nightmare continued on together, going through the AUs to spread negativity and sadness.

Neither route:
"(Y/n)!"
"Wait, let us make it up to you!"
Before either of them could catch up to you, you let your tears fall and cloak yourself, the tar turning clear and making yourself effectively invisible. Slipping through your portal, you came out into a dust covered snowfield.
You began to bawl, your form doubling over from the wave of emotion.
"(Y/n)!?"
"Duuuust!" You cried out for him, letting your friend see you by dropping your tear cloak.
He rushed towards you, holding you close to him as he pulled you into a hug.
"Did they hurt you again?"
You only cried and nodded, too choked up to explain in words.
Once you calmed down some, Dust pulled back a bit. "Let's get back at them. Let's show them how much they hurt you."
"B... But what about your AU?"
"Human's been dead for days, I think they finally gave up trying."
You offered a small smile to him.

A while later, you had gotten Fell Sans on your side as well, able to convince him that his brother didn't love him. In his tears, he agreed to join you, and now you three helps those stuck in their sorrow, and hurt those that have too happy of lives.
