Papyrus was already dead, and you were left to run. If you could make it to Waterfall, you could tell Undyne and—
You skidded to stop from your shock, seeing the dust already covering Waterfall.
They were already here!?
You treaded carefully, avoiding stepping in anyone's dust out of respect.
It was quiet here, and you hated it.
You moved further, coming closer to the entrance to the Hotlands. You saw the shadows move a second too late, and the human jumped out at you, knife glinting in the low light.
Before they could strike, a bone shot through them, pinning them to the wall.
You blinked, and suddenly found Sans standing there next to you. Once glance at his face showed he was completely gone.
You were shaking, fearing the worst until Sans turned and hugged you.
"I'm sorry (Y/n)."
Then there was nothing but the darkness.
