You held Error close to you, healing his various injuries as he cried into your sweater. It wasn't fair at all.
After Fate failed in showing Ink to be balanced with his creations, she turned to Error, forcing him to become a god of destruction.
Everyone else in the multiverse however, thinks he's pure evil.
Well, you just won't stand for it dammit!
Once Error was asleep, you slipped away through a portal, coming across one of Ink's many hangouts.
"InK?"
He turned at the sound of your voice, frowning at the sight of you. "What do you want?"
"I wAnT tO tAlK tO yOu."
"If it about Error, you already know my stance on the matter."
"He DoEsN't ChOoSe WhEtHeR oR nOt If He DeStRoYs AuS! BeSiDeS, tHiS wOuLdN't Be HaPpEnInG iF yOu'D lIsTeNeD tO fAtE iN tHe FiRsT pLaCe!"
Ink rolled his eyes.
"Oh what do you know?"
"UnLiKe YoU, i KnOw ThAt If ThErE's ToO mAnY aUs, ThE mUlTiVeRsE wIlL cOlLaPsE iNk!"
"That's just a lie Fate told you!"
"ShE's ThE oNe ThAt ToLd YoU fIrSt!!!"
You were growing increasingly angry with this stubborn skeleton. Shaking your head, you turned away, slipping away through your portal.
If Error couldn't do the job, you would.

You started with the the forgotten AUs, then the haphazardly made AUs, then the ones Ink's hardly visited anymore.
Ink went along, not noticing your "evil deeds" and Fate was more than impressed with you. Your self sacrifice for Error surprised her, and so she went out of her way to fix her own wrongs and do some right by being a guide for you, showing you AUs Ink had forgotten, had abandoned.
And each time, Error was grateful for your help and Ink was none the wiser.
When Ink finally did noticed your work, he was confused, confused as to why he never felt Error's presence.
When Ink finally did find you, Fate was with you. She ignored her first mistake and his questions on why she was helping you, merely continuing to guide you along.
"PeRhApS yOu ShOuLd HaVe LiStEnEd, InK." You told him, smirking at him before continuing on to the next AU.
