Zarina walked through the town enjoying the cold breeze that hit her face. Her shoes fell into the recently fallen snow as the villagers still cleaned the roads.

She didn't know how to react to everything happening in the palace. This wasn't her, a pretty thing on a shelf being bargained over.

She was the Architect of Nightmares, a demon enchantress. She wanted to be back in the Underground ensuring souls got what they deserved, be with the Hounds.

Down there, no King could avoid her enchantments. No King seemed to be persistent in trying to keep her around.

She heard a high-pitched screech that caused her head to snap up. The sound seemed to come from the between two buildings that stood further on.

She recognized that sound. She stood frozen, realizing she had no weapons. She was in her pretty little gown, almost completely defenseless.

Her concerns were confirmed when she began to see villagers run away in panic and terror from where the noise had previously come from.

The villagers rushed past her, bumping into her as they pushed their way past.

"Go to the palace walls." She began ordering out trying to take control of the situation. "Tell any guard you come across they are needed here." To emphasize this, her eyes glowed to ensure the villagers got reinforcements.

Some of the villagers met her eyes and nodded slowly in understanding before they continued to run off.

She wasn't sure what she was going to do to hold those creatures off but she would try.

Her eyes narrowed as she saw the first one step out from around the building. His skin falling off his bones, his clothes tattered and dirty. His red eyes glowed up at her, while his teeth remained completely exposed.

He snarled at her before more walked up behind him. There were a lot more than last time.

All their red eyes glared at her, and only her. Their hands and teeth dripping with blood.

They had been busy; they had been feasting.

In one swift motion, they all came rushing towards her, snarling and biting at the air in a crazed fit of hunger.

Callon hadn't even suited up in any leather armor, he was too afraid that something would happen to Zarina.

He had grabbed his sword and summoned Diego before shooting up into the sky ignoring Iston and his soldiers who were trying to get him to put on his armor.

He circled over his palace and then aimed towards the town as he searched the snow below for signs of Zarina. She could be anywhere, knowing her she could either be hoping through bars or climbing up trees.

He saw a sight that caused his heart to freeze. Villagers running towards the safety of the palace walls in panic.

He swept down and landed at the wall as some of the villagers continued to pour into the safe zone for protection. This was not a good sign.

He strode towards one of the villagers who were talking to a guard.

"You are not listening." The villager shouted in frustration, looking like he was about to punch the Guard out.

"She said to send reinforcement and to send them now."

Callon's eyes widened as he walked forward with a faster pace to meet them.
