Friday
"Cole, get out of the bathroom already!" Kristen yelled from the other side of the bathroom door.
"Wait." Cole whispered something else.
"Cole, who are you talking to?" Kristen asked.
"Sum."
"Oh. No wonder it's taking you so long," Kristin said. The door swung open. Cole came walking out, his eyes fixed on his phone. He was listening intently to what Summer was saying.
"Ok, I'll see you at the airport." He flashed Summer a perfect smile and hung up.
"Wow. She woke up at five just to talk to you? She is so invested in this relationship," Kristen said, surprised.
At exactly five-thirty, Dan, Kristen, and Cole checked out at the hotel reception area and called a taxi to take them to the airport.
"Are you excited to see Summer again?" Dan asked his little brother.
"Yeah. Of course. Why not?" Cole grinned at his brother. "But I'm sad you have to go back to England."
"It's ok, we'll see you next summer," Kristen said.
"That's so long from now," Cole moaned.
"That's ok buddy, I'm sure you're just saying that you miss me," Dan said, smirking.
"No way dude!" Cole said playfully, punching his brother on the shoulder.

"Wake up sweetie, we need to get to the airport." Mrs. Zaayer shook Summer around while she was peacefully sleeping in her bed.
"Mom, it's 5:45 in the morning." Summer checked her alarm clock.
"Yes, we need to be at the airport in about half an hour. Hurry up."
"Mom, I thought you said, leave the house at 7:00."
"No, sweetie, we need to pick up Cole at 7:00. Come on. Hurry up!"
The plane ride was bumpy, but Cole still managed to sleep a bit. He had wanted to talk to Summer but he couldn't go on his phone on the plane since there was no reception. The plane eventually landed with a thud. Cole woke up startled. Dan and Kristen were already getting packed up. They passed all the checkpoints and finally arrived at the pickup exit.
"Cole!" Summer yelled excitedly. Cole turned around and saw Summer. His face lit up. He quickly walked over to where Mrs. Zaayer, Amber, and Summer were waiting.
"Hi, Summer! I missed you so much!" He hugged Summer.
"What was that?" Summer asked Cole surprisingly.
"I just don't want to draw attention to us," Cole said calmly.
Dan and Kristen said goodbye to them and left for their plane to England.
"Cole, how was the flight home?" Mrs. Zaayer asked.
"A bit bumpy, but fine," Cole said.
"Nice. Come on, let's go to the car." Mrs. Zaayer started to exit the building.
"Ok." Cole walked with Summer at the back of Mrs. Zaayer and in front of Amber. They held hands and walked to the parking lot. Summer had sensed that Amber would say something so she turned around and put her finger to her lips. "If you tell mom, I'm going to tell mom that you were the one who stole her cookie," Summer whispered to her sister. Cole turned around too.
