Wednesday After School
"Yesss! We're finally going to the mall! It's been so long." Lexi danced around the hallway while making her way to her friends' lockers. "Yo! You ready, Summer?"
"Yep, just gotta stuff this stupid clarinet in," Summer said.
"LOL. Why are you taking Band anyway if you don't like it?"
"My parents like it's beneficial to the rest of my learning experience," Summer said while doing air quotation marks and rolling her eyes all the way out of her head.
Starling walked over to Lexi and Summer. "Hey, you guys ready?"
"Alll... mooost... and... YES! I did it!" Summer jumped air excitedly, proud of her achievement.
"Good job, Sum. I'm very proud of you."
The group of girls started laughing together as Bianca walked towards them. "What are you guys laughing about?" She stared at them strangely. "You look like maniacs you know. It's highly embarrassing."
"Chill, girl. We're just laughing," Starling said.
"Jianna might tag along for a bit. Her after school class doesn't start until 5," Bianca said.
"K. Let's get going, now." Lexi started walking towards the school's exit.
The gang took the 15 minute bus ride to the large mall further away from school. This mall had all the cool clothing stores and restaurants, perfect for a group of popular girls to go to.
"Hey, y'all!" Bianca screamed. "Let's go to the bikini store. I need to get a bigger size."
"Ok, then," Starling said.
The group made their way over to Booies' Swimwear, the store with the best bikinis in the mall, and entered.
"OMG! So cute!" Bianca ran over to a bright pink, polka-dot bikini covered in sparkles. "I love this. Lex, help me try this on."
"You can do that on your own, Bianca," Lexi said, concerned. "I'll wait outside to tell you how it looks. But first, let's look at some other bikinis. We might find some cute stuff here."
"NO! I WANT TO TRY ON NOW!!!" Bianca jumped onto the floor and kicked around like a baby and Summer pushed her face and everyone laughed.
"Bianca, get up you're embarrassing us." Starling lifted Bianca up from the ground and flopped her on her feet.
Summer stared at the two, very confused, then walked over to the flip flop section. She scanned the rows before picking out a pair of blue flip flops with pink bubbles. Lexi wandered over and picked up some green sandals with beach patterns on it.
"Wow, those look cute," Lexi said.
"IKR," Summer agreed.
While Lexi and Summer were choosing more clothes, Starling went with Bianca to the changing rooms. Bianca walked into a stall and put on the pink bikini. She opened the stall and started doing the catwalk out of the changing rooms.
"Ooo... that's cute," Starling complimented.
"OMG, I knooow! I look sooo good," Bianca said, dancing around.
From the corner of her eye, Bianca spotted Cole and Brett walking past Booies' Swimwear. As they were almost gone from sight, Bianca yelled out.
"Hey ~ " Bianca started crazily flipped her hair and wobbled her hips. She was desperately trying to look like a supermodel. However, she was failing miserably.
Cole cautiously walked into the store and towards Summer, carefully avoiding Bianca.
"Hey, did you say something?" Cole scratched his head nervously. "So weird, I didn't realize we were both at the same mall. Hahaha," he awkwardly laughed.
"Oh... Nice to see you, I guess," Summer said.
"HEY! Over here!" Bianca shouted and waved her arms in the air. "Collllle ~ Break up with your girlfriend, cuz im booooredddd ~."
"Oh, hi, Bianca." Cole avoided eye contact with the crazy lady. "Nice song. Hahaha."
