Friday After School At The Mall

Cole opened the mall door for Summer and walked in after her.

"So, where first?" Summer asked Cole and looked around the mall.

"Umm, Brooks Brothers?"

"Kay?"

Cole accidentally dragged Summer onto the escalator.

"Ow, Cole, my arm..." Summer whined.

"Sorry, babe." Cole gave Summer an apologetic smile.

Summer pinched Cole's nose and giggled. They walked into the store. There were shelves of ties and racks of clothes.

"Summer, this?" Cole lifted a yellow tie without any patterns in front of him.

"Cool."

"So yeah?"

"Uhuh."

Cole did a few poses in front of a mirror in the shop and flashed his signature smile.

"You look lit..." Summer giggled.

"Thanks, babe." Cole took the tie to the cashier and hooked his arm around Summer's waist. Summer liked the feeling of that.

"So, where to next?" Cole asked Summer.

"Uh. IDK..."

"You choose, I got what I needed." Cole took the bag from the cashier counter and followed Summer out of the store.

"Can we go to H&M?" Summer asked hopefully.

"Yeah." Cole and Summer walked to the escalators.

"Can I ask you a question?" Summer asked.

"Shoot."

"Who did you have a crush on before me?"

"You promise not to tell?"

"I promise," Summer reassured him.

"You sure?" Cole raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sure."

"Kay, fine..."

"Who?" Summer asked eagerly.

"It was Lexi," Cole sighed in defeat.

"Really?!" Summer squealed.

"Summer! Don't be so loud." Cole nudged in the Summer's ribs.

"Okay, okay, okay," Summer laughed.

"I'm hungry," Cole whined.

"Hi hungry, I'm Summer."

"Summer, seriously" Cole dragged Summer to the Krispy Kreme shop.

"You're paying!" Summer giggled.

"Kay. I'll treat you." Cole wiggled his eyebrows.

"Ew."

They entered the donut bakery. There was a wondrous teen girl around the age of 15 at the cashier register. Cole started staring at the girl. Summer glared at Cole.

"Sorry, couldn't help."

"Really, Cole?"

"It's ok, I can stare at you for hours and not fall asleep," Cole said sarcastically. Then he grinned at Summer.

"Ugh. Mushy, gushy stuff." Summer pouted.

"So. What do you want?" The girl looked straight at Cole.

"My girlfriend and I would both like an original glazed donut, thanks."
