Monday First Day Back at School for Semester 2
Pebble Drop!
COLE: do u want me to come by ur house?
SUMMER: sure Cole. I HEART U. Hahahahaha.
COLE: what's so funny??!?
SUMMER: nvm. Nothing.
COLE: I HEART U too
Cole rode his bike as fast as he could to Summer's house. It took him less than three minutes to get there. She was already at the door putting her helmet on.
"Hey, Summer." Cole did a trick by lifting his hands from the handlebars and waved to Summer. Apparently, his balancing skills were bad, and he toppled over and fell on the road.
"Aw, man!" Cole had scraped the skin off of his knee.
"Cole!" Summer ran to help lift Cole off of the ground.
"You should put on elbow and knee pads next time," Summer said, acting like his mom. She looked worried and looked him over. She turned him around.
"It's not that bad," Cole said, grabbing his bike up from the ground. "Come on. We should get to school," Cole said, sucking it up.
"Are you sure you're alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine... Now let's go." Cole and Summer biked side by side on the road. When they got to school, Cole said something random to Summer.
"Summer, I love you. Don't forget that."
"That's sweet. I love you too." They smiled dreamily at each other and walked into the school's huge swinging doors. However, as soon as they saw other students, they quickly darted apart. Though it was their first "I love you" to each other, they treated it like it was nothing, as they were already so in love.
"Hey, Cassie!" Summer waltzed over to Cassidy's locker as she was sticking some polaroid photos on her locker door.
"Hey, Sum," Cassidy replied.
"Nice winter pics."
"Thanks. Russia was awesome. Though it was very cold. I got some great pics with my new polaroid my parents gave me for Christmas."
"Nice." Summer jumped excitedly. "I got cool stuff too!" Summer took out her phone from her pocket to show Cassidy.
"Cute!" Cassidy squealed.
"I know right!" Summer smiled. "But Cole still didn't give me my present."
"What present?"
"Oh. Cole told me he had a present to give me, but he didn't give it to me. I wonder if he's still giving it to me."
"Sum..." Cassidy rolled her eyes. "Don't worry so much. I can almost guarantee you that if he really loved you, he would remember your present. Not that presents define love or anything. Just saying."
"Yeah, you're probs right." They slowly walked to homeroom.
"But... even though objects don't describe love... or in this case friendship. I got you something!"
"Oh... Cassie... you didn't need to." Summer smiled.
"I know I didn't need... to. But I still did. I'll give it to you after school," Cassidy giggled.
Summer and Cassidy jumped into their seats just as the bell rang. "Just in time," Ms. Landercord said.
In homeroom, they started their music unit. "Ok class, let's start by sharing some of our favorite songs," Ms. Landercord began.
