Monday Afternoon At Summer's
Cassidy dropped her bag on the floor next to the couch.
"Sooo... what are you going to wear on Saturday?" Cassidy asked curiously.
"I don't know, maybe something yellow?"
COLE: can we meet at the restaurant at 6:00... my dudes
SUMMER: fine with me
SUMMER: ya cray cray cole
SUMMER: Hey Cole What r u wearing?
COLE: stuff
SUMMER: ima wear yellow
COLE: Kay, I'll try to match
SUMMER: yay!!!
CASSIDY: time is fine with me
BRETT: good time my dudes!
CASSIDY: what place?
COLE: ohhh yeaaa. LOL
COLE: im stupid
CASSIDY: just tell us!
SUMMER: u no stupid. But Cole, srsly tell us
COLE: it a French restaurant
COLE: called La Pasteque
SUMMER: oh yea... heard of it. It's supposed to specialize in watermelons
COLE: cuz la pasteque means watermelon in french. Dont u rmbr???
SUMMER: ohhh yeaaa
COLE: u good bro?
SUMMER: meh. Dont call me bro
Cassidy shifted on the couch "Ok, I think you can stop talking to him now. And focus on some me and you time," Cassidy told Summer.
"So... What do you wanna do?" Summer asked
"Stuff we used to do all the time?"
"Uhhh, all we used to do was talk about boys and crushes and life and laugh like crazy maniacs. And sometimes play some games. Oh! We used to play truth or dare. Like all the time."
"Ok, let's do that."
"Truth or dare!" Summer shouted
"Ummm... truth."
"Kay..." Summer thought carefully about what question she would ask.
"If I dared you to kiss Brett at school, would you?" Summer asked.
"Like in public?" Cassidy asked. Summer was surprised that Cassidy didn't scream.
"Nah, in that space where you caught Cole and me kissing. There."
"I mean, I don't feel comfortable, but if I had to do it then ya."
"What if- " Summer began.
Cassidy stopped her mid sentence. "You're allowed to ask me one truth. You're gonna have to wait till I truth again. Oh, and remember you can't do more than three in a row for the same category. See, isn't this fun?"
"Yeah, it actually is... dare!"
"I dare you to... send Cole a voice message saying this... 'Sup dude. I'm cool! You're dope! Hype! Am I right?'" Cassidy burst out laughing.
"Cassie! I'm not gonna! That's so weird"
"You gotta. Or do ya wanna owe me five bucks. Remember you made up the five bucks rule."
