68(Jeffer)

I take a deep breath as I remember the frustration looks from Yara.
I know I always giving her a hard time always.
I was putting some ointment on my swelling face.
I heard a knock on my door then my mom walks in.
"Jeffer what did you do to yourself?" She stares at me disappointedly.
"Mom I don't want to hear any words I know I was being a troublemaker."
My mom suddenly snatch the ointment in my hand then she puts it in my face gently.
"The wedding will be held next week Jeffer." She said.
"I know mom."
"Anyway do you hear the news?"
"What news?"
"Conrad's daughter is in the hospital."
"What?!"
"Prey got into a car accident and the worst part her baby didn't make it."
Napatayo ako sa narinig ko.
"Where are you going?"
"I need to check if Prey's okay mom she's my friend."
"Okay go on Jeffer." She agreed.
Dali-dali akong lumabas ng bahay, pasakay na sana ako sa kotse ko ng biglang nakita ko na dumating si Yara.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"I need to go to the hospital."
"Hospital?" Curious na sabi niya.
"Prey got into an accident." I answer.
"Oh God!"
"You want to come with me?" I said then she nods.

We are on the hospital lobby when we saw Tito Conrad walking out with his two bodyguards.
"Tito Conrad." Yara approach him.
"Yara and Jeffer what are you doing here?" Huminto siya sa paglalakad.

I've known Mr. Conrad Monte not because he is the father of Prey I already know him when we attend the business exhibition years ago at magkakilala rin sila ni mommy.
"We heard what happened to your daughter." Yara said.
"I hope she's fine Mr. Conrad." I said.
"Thank God she's finally open her eyes." He smiled bittersweet but somehow I can feel the relief in his voice.
"Do you want to see her?" He asked.
"Can we Mr. Conrad."
"Jeffer you talk formally." He smiled.
"You can call me Tito as well I've known your mom for a long time."He added.
"Okay po Tito." Nahihiyang sabi ko.
"Come let's go to Prey's room."
He stopped from walking then he faced the two bodyguards.
"You two can buy strawberries for Prey here take this." He give his card to his bodyguard beside him.
"Sasamahan ko lang sina Yara at Jeffer sa room ni Prey."
"Yes boss." Tapos umalis na.
"Tito you don't need baka naabala lang namin kayo sa lakad niyo." nahihiyang sabi ko.
"It's okay come with me." He insists.
"But don't be shocked if Prey doesn't remember you, she's suffering from amnesia." He added.
I nod gently tapos nagkatinginan kami ni Yara.

Tito Conrad open the door then we saw Miu and RJ with Prey.
They froze and looking to each other.
"What the heck are you doing here!" Tito Conrad not so pleased to see RJ.
"Did you let him go in Miu?" Tito Conrad looking to Miu.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Miu for a second tapos inilapat niya ang tingin niya kay Yara.
"Mr. Monte pinilit ko lang talagang pumasok para makita si Prey." RJ interrupt.
"Out! Get out or I call a police!" Tito Conrad yell.
Nilapitan ko si RJ tapos hinila ko palabas ng room dahil alam ko na sobrang galit na galit na talaga si Tito Conrad.

"Bitiwan mo nga ako!" Inis na sabi nito sa akin.
Doon ko lang siya binitawan sa labas na ng kwarto.
"Ang kapal naman ng mukha mo na magpakita talaga kay Prey at sa daddy niya."
"Ano?!" I can see he gritted his teeth sa sobrang asar niya sa akin.
"Ikaw ano ba tingin mo sa sarili mo ha! Walang maling nagawa!" RJ begun to yell at me.
"If you want a fight not here tingnan mo nga yang asal mo nakakahiya ka."
Dahil sa sinabi ko bigla niyang hinablot ang collar ko at akmang susuntok sa pagmumukha ko ng biglang lumabas si Yara sa kwarto.
"Did you guys bring your fight here!" Galit na sabi ni Yara.
"Will you stop this!" She glared at us.
Umatras si RJ tapos binitiwan niya ang collar ko.
"RJ please umalis ka na." Yara said.
I can see the defeated looks on that asshole tapos naglakas na ito palayo.
Humarap si Yara sa akin.
"Fix yourself Jeffer." Inayos niya ang collar ko na nagusot dahil sa pagkakahablot ni RJ kanina.
"Alam mo na nandito si Miu?" Biglang tanong niya.
"What?! No hindi ko alam I swear."
"Let's go we need to go in." She said tapos bumalik na kami sa room ni Prey.

"Don't ever talk to that guy Prey." Tito Conrad said while holding the hand of Prey.
"Why? He said we are friends." Prey getting confused.
"His not a good person." I interrupt.
Napatingin si Prey sa akin.
I can see the face of Yara too I know he doesn't believe what I said.
"I know you don't still remember us." Yara said.
"I'm Yara and he is Jeffer my fiancee."
The disappointed face of Miu is evident.
"Sorry if I don't remember you all." Prey said.
"May I excuse I need to get a drinks." Miu intervention.
Yara look to Miu then she stop her from walking.
"I'll go with you."
Napatingin ako kay Yara at Miu suddenly I can feel the tension.
"Yara wag na." I try to stop Yara tapos napatingin si Yara sa akin.
"Okay." Miu answered.
"Let's go." Tapos sabay na silang lumabas ng room.
I hope they will not make a scene.
