One Night Surprise

"Goodbye Master LJ see you in monday!" My student shout.
"Goodbye!" I wave my hands at them tapos lumabas na sila ng room.
Hinubad ko agad ang taekwondo uniform na suot ko tapos nagpalit ng t-shirt.
Should I buy flowers for Prey? Sana may madaanan akong flower shop.
"Hey LJ!" I heard my name kaya nilingon ko ito.
"Ikaw pala Austin, napadalaw ka. Anong meron?"
"Are you free?"
"Actually pauwi nako kakatapos ko lang magturo ng taekwondo sa mga bata."
"Great so you are free." Nakangiting sabi ni Austin.
"Bakit ano bang meron?" Curious na tanong ko sa kanya.
"Mag-inuman muna tayo LJ matagal na rin di tayo nagkikita at nag-iinuman, tamang-tama birthday ni Lucas ngayon." Anyaya ni Austin.
"Nandito na si Lucas?"
Si Lucas ay isa sa mga kaibigan namin ni Austin sa America nung doon pa kami nakatira.
"Di ko ba nasabi sayo? Last week pa."
"Tawagan ko muna si Prey." Sabi ko kay Austin.
"Magpapaalam ka pa kay DP? Baka hindi ka lang payagan nun napakamoody pa naman ng asawa mo." He sigh.
Kinuha ko ang cellphone sa bulsa ko tapos biglang nagpower off?? Lowbat? Wrong timing naman. Tumawa ng malakas si Austin kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.
"Ano ba yan LJ nakikisabay ang cellphone mo kaya tara na!"
"Pahiram ng cellphone mo Austin."
Ibinigay niya cellphone niya sa akin tapos dinial ko agad ang phone ni Prey.  Baka maghintay yun sa pag-uwi ko kaya kailangan niyang malaman na may pupuntahan muna ako.
"Hello Prey??"
Bakit walang lumalabas na boses?
"LJ di ko pala nasabi sayo sira ang speaker at mic niyan kaya useless kung tatawag ka." Hirit ni Austin.
Agad ko inend call.
"Bumili ka nga ng bagong cellphone!" Sigaw ko sa kanya tapos hinablot niya phone niya.
"Tara na! Dami mong arte LJ! Paminsan na nga lang tayo mag-inuman!" Pangungumbinse ni Austin.
"Oo na."
Siguro manghihiram na lang ako ng phone mamaya.
"LJ dito ka na sumakay sa kotse ko. Hayaan muna ang kotse mo dyan kunin mo na lang bukas makakatipid pa tayo ng gasolina." Alok ni Austin.
May point rin naman si Austin.
Sa bar kami pupunta dahil doon naghihintay si Lucas.
Nauna ng pumasok si Austin habang ako nasa likuran niya ng may commution na nagaganap. Nahagip ng mga mata ko ang pagsuntok ng lalaki sa isang lalaking nakaupo sa counter. He punch him again but this time in his stomach and the guy curled up in pain.
"Hey! Stop it man!" I shout.
Sa totoo lang malaki ang katawan nung lalaking nagwawala kaya siguro natatakot yung mga tao dun na makialam. Napatingin ako sa paligid kaso walang bouncer na umawat. Seriously?!
"Gusto mo sumali?" The man sarcastic said then he suddenly punch me but I twisted his arm. A little snap and his hand would be wasted.
"Do you want me to break your arm?"
He groan and now his tapping my arm in his left hand letting me know he surrender.
I let go of his arm then push him away tapos biglang dumating yung mga bouncer.
Tinulungan ko na patayuin yung lalaki sa sahig.
"Jeffer, you are Jeffer right?!" I said.
He look wasted!? What the heck!
His right eye is still shut due to the punch he received earlier.
"Yes it's me Jeffer." He is exhausted.
"Umuwi ka na nga kung hindi muna kaya ang sarili mo."
Did he just smirk?! He is totally wasted! Nagulat ako dahil biglang inilapit ni Jeffer ang mukha niya sa mukha ko tapos tinitigan ba naman ako.
I slightly push him away.
"Ano bang ginagawa mo?!" Bulyaw ko.
"It's you LJ! Nag-away ba kayo ni Prey kaya ka umiinom." He laughed.
"Ano?!"
"LJ tara na naghihintay na ang birthday boy sa table." Lumapit si Austin.
"Mauna ka na Austin susunod na ako."
"Ikaw umuwi ka na bago ka pa ulit makahanap ng away dito!"
"Okay."  Tapos bigla ba namang natumba si Jeffer sa harapan ko.
"Hey?! Wake up!"
"LJ tara na! Sino ba yan?!" Tanong ni Austin.
"Nakita ko na yung table tara na!"
"Austin tulungan mo muna ako hindi natin siya pwedeng pabayaan na lang dito."
Tinulungan ako ni Austin.
"May malapit na hotel dito LJ doon muna lang siya iwan." Austin suggest.

Iniwanan namin ni Austin si Jeffer sa kwarto ng hotel malamang magtataka yun kung bakit magigising na lang siya na bugbog sarado na siya kinabukasan.
Tapos bumalik na kami ni Austin sa bar.
"Hey man! What's up?!  Long time no see." Lucas hug me pagkakita niya sa akin.
Nakita ko rin yung ibang mga kaibigan namin.
"Happy birthday brother!" I hug him back.
"I'm happy to see you again LJ! Ang totoo niyan hindi ko kasi alam ang number mo dahil nagpalit ako ng bago phone kaya si Austin ang inutusan ko na dalhin ka dito." Sabi ni Lucas.
"LJ you're here!" Chantal said.
"Are you awkward to see Chantal bro?" Biglang tanong ni Lucas.
"We are fine Lucas don't make a malicious rumors we are friends." Chantal interrupt.
"Ow? I see ex-lover turn into friends."
"Here just chill LJ!" She give me a glass shot.
"I'm good Chantal." I was refusing the shot.
"Ouch! Rejected!" Lucas teased Chantal.
"Okay!" She said.
Why I feel like napahiya ko si Chantal now I feel guilty about it.
"Chantal let me drink it." I said she smile and give back the shot glass.
I immediately drink it.

How can I borrow phone right now?!
Kailangan ko lang talaga ipaalam kay Prey na late na ako makakauwi.

"Lucas can I borrow your phone for a second."
"Yeah, sure man." He immediately said.
"You can borrow my phone perhaps." Chantal interrupt giving her phone to me.
"In exchange of drinking the shot." She smile.
Atleast I got a phone and now I need to call Prey.
Lumabas ako.
Mabuti na lang kabisado ko ang number ni Prey.
"Who's this?"
"Prey it's me LJ medyo late na akong makakauwi."
"Nasaan ka ba LJ?" She curiously asked.
"Mag-iinuman lang kami ni Austin kasi ..." (hindi ko na lang sasabihin na birthday ni Lucas she probably doesn't know him)
"Si Austin lang ba kasama mo? Kayo lang dalawa?"
I can't tell Prey na nandito rin si  Chantal she will be mad at me.
"Prey basta kumain ka na huwag muna akong hintayin."
"Okay! Basta umuwi ka ng ligtas."
Did she said that?! My heart flutter.
Para tuloy gusto ko ng umuwi.
"Bye." Then she end the call.
I'm so happy she said that.
Bumalik na ako sa loob.
"Thank you Chantal." I give back her phone.
"Sure LJ."
"Sino ba tinawagan mo mukhang importante." She added.
"Sino pa nga ba ang asawa niya." Austin said I elbow his side napakadaldal.
"I can't believe you're a married man now LJ! Buti na lang hindi si Chantal ang nakatuluyan mo." Biro na sabi ni Lucas. Chantal and Lucas is always bickering to each other. I can't believe they are friends.
"Shut up Lucas! I know you have a secret crush on me birthday boy!"
"What?!  Nevermind Chantal!" Lucas added.
I was controlling my drinks ayaw ko rin na sobrang lasing akong umuwi sa bahay knowing na mas mauuna pa si Austin na malasing sa akin and I know for sure I'm the one who will drive the car.
"Here LJ drink this!" Chantal said.
After a few shots I feel weird I started to feel tipsy. I don't remember na mabilis akong malasing. I can handle my alcohol for sure.
Nakita ko na nalalasing na rin sina Lucas at lalong-lalo na si Austin pero patuloy pa rin sila sa pag-inom.
"What's the matter LJ?" Chantal concern said.
I tried to stand but I can't.
"I need to go home." I said.
"Hey, Austin! Iuwi muna si LJ sa kanila." Chantal said.
Austin? His a hella wasted already.
I need to go home. My head is spinning like shit!.

I feel the pain in my head when I wake up..
"Where am I?" I mumbled.
Who's room is it?! Why my head is freaking hurt. Something weird why am I naked?! I feel the warm body of someone else wrapped around my waist.
Oh shit! It's Chantal! I slowly push her para lang makawala sa pagkakayakap niya sa akin. What the hell did I do!
Shit! I need to get out of here!
I heard gasped and saw Prey staring at me. She cover her mouth out of shocked. Napatingin siya kay Chantal.
"Prey." Ouch! My head! Fuck it hurts!
She walk out of the room crying.
I need to follow her to explain.
Agad ko hinanap ang mga damit ko hanggang sa nagising na rin si Chantal.
"LJ? Where's are you going? Did we? Shit!" She blurted after she realized we had sex.
"I need to follow Prey!" I said.
"What? She's here?"
Nagmadali kung sinuot yung mga damit ko.
"LJ don't leave me here." Chantal begged.
Nagmadali akong lumabas ng hotel room.
There's people waiting for the elevator to come up. I need to hurry up to catch up with Prey kaya nagmadali akong bumaba ng stairway exit.
Nasa lobby na ako ng hotel at patuloy na hinahanap si Prey nang makita ko na palabas na siya ng hotel tapos sumakay na sa kotse niya.
I run as fast I could.
"Prey!" I shout I don't care kung anong isipin at tingin ng mga tao sa akin. Hindi ko siya naabutan kaya nagmadali akong pumara ng taxi.

"Just follow that car sir." I said.
"Shit!" Napatingin yung taxi driver sa akin.
