One Night Surprise

"Would you like to walk by the beach? I think it's nice while the sun is not yet completely up." LJ stared at her, surprised by the sudden invitation. LJ nodded.
"It was a beautiful morning outside." DP said while touching her tummy.
LJ smiles as he witness it.
"Can you feel him moving?" He asked.
"Huh? Moving?"
"The baby in your tummy. Do you feel him moving?"
"He moves a lot."
"Really? Can I touch it." He was so excited.
"Hey! What are you doing?! I'm not comfortable if stranger touches my tummy." She stop him before LJ landed a finger on her tummy.
"What?! But I'm his father and I'm not a stranger I'm your husband." He is frustrated.
"So what! I just don't want you to touch my tummy." She's glaring at him as if she's the one whose offended.
LJ sighed as he is defeated.
The wind was is a bit chilly since it was early morning.
They walked silently and then he tried to start a conversation.
"Tsaka na lang kami maglalaro kapag napanganak mo na siya." He said.
"Ano? Maglalaro?"
"Uum. Tuturuan ko siya ng taekwondo at basketball." LJ imagining what might happen.
"Taekwondo at basketball? We don't know yet if the baby is a boy or a girl."
"But still I want to teach him how to defend her/his self. Right baby?!"
DP can't believe how LJ excited about it. She's laughing and LJ laughs too.
He notice that DP rubbed her arms to keep herself warm he suddenly took of his coat and placed it in her shoulder. She blinks as she was surprised by the sudden moves.

Tomorrow they will go back home.
But LJ have an idea to make this trip memorable.
"Come quick."
"Where are we going tonight?"
"I have found a good restaurant."
"I'm lazy to go out, beside our flight back home will be tomorrow in the morning."
"Jeez, Prey be cooperative just for once."
"Ayaw ko nga. Mag-order ka na lang ng pagkain." She's hardheaded.
"That's it inuubos muna pasensya ko." Sa walang pasabi bigla niyang binuhat si Prey.
"Put me down."
"Huwag ka ng malikot Divine Prey Monte at baka mabitawan kita, kawawa si baby."
"Buckle up." Prey pouting.
"I will start the engine now so buckle up." He reminded Prey.
"Okay, ayaw mo magseatbelt so ako na lang gagawa para sayo."
"Stop! I can do it myself."
Then LJ starts driving the car.

The restaurant was lit by dim yellow lights which gave it sort a romantic ambience. There was a romantic music playing making the perfect setting for a date.

They settled down on the table.
"Balita ko masarap daw ang mga pagkain dito." LJ said.
DP looked to the menu and looked at the various delicacies that it offered.
"Hi maam and sir what is your order?" The waiter approached.
DP pointed the seafood platter in the menu.
"I want this." She said.
"You choose the right food maam that is the place speciality.
LJ smiles because of how good DP's in choosing food.
"And she likes smoothies." LJ interrupt.

Once the food came in they wasted no time in digging into the food.

LJ took a bite and it tasted good. He took  another spoon and pushed it towards DP.
"Here try this one." He smiles.
"I'm not a child I can feed myself." She's being hardheaded again.
"Just this one."

"Why you're so much excited to him baby. When we are around him you always move so excitedly in my tummy. Do you really like your father that much?" DP thought.

"Hey? Are you listening?" He snapped the thought out of her.
She knows na hindi siya titigilan ni LJ kapag hindi niya ito pinagbigyan.
DP took it.
He was so happy to see her ate the food he offered.
"Is it good right?"
She nod in response.
After a while the food was cleared.
"We're done now. Let's go?" She said.
"Wait, can I dance you tonight?"
"I don't know how to dance."
"Well, let me teach you."
They are facing each other.
"Put your hands on my shoulder."
She just obeyed him.
Slowly they dance to the music of love.There are some couple dancing. But still DP can feel a little awkwardness.
"Am I doing right?" She can see that other customers are looking at them.
"You're doing great Prey, just relax."
