"And then you know you spin like that." I said.
"I know." Ben said, roaming in circles.
We were pretending to be the mixer. I don't know why.
"I love your hair like this." I said, touching his frizzy mop, "When it's straighhtened you look like a girl."
"It's a pain." he said, running his hand through it.
"Where's everyone?"
"Danny is I don't know where, James is sleeping Cam is out to see his grandmom.You're dancing with me. And Sam is right here."
"Where?"
"Under the table."
I looked under the dining table.
Sam waved at me and smiled creepily.
I screamed.
Ben's phone started ringing.
He picked it up, the other person on the line seemed really hassled because there was a lot of screaming.
Ben's brow furrowed , and then I knew there was a problem.
When he put the phone down he turned to me and said really slowly, "Some girl's having Danny's kid. We have to go there."
