Part 32

My music hits and the crowd goes nuts. I walk in the arena with a grin. As I'm walking to the ring Aj has a mean look on her face. She stares me down as I enter the ring. The bell rings and we start our match. She jumps on me and punches me lots of times trying to harm me of course. I push her away and fight back.

The match lasts about seven minutes, but as soon as I kick Aj right in the face she falls to the floor in pain. I take advantage of that and pick her up, the crowd cheers because they know what I'm about to do. I fall to my knees doing the rack attack on her, then I pin her. When my music blasts on I get up happy. I could beat Aj over and over and still love it. I want to make me pay for my sisters injury. She probably didn't mean to cause an injury but it still annoys me.

As I walk backstage I walk to the bathroom to wipe off my sweat. To my surprise Eva is there. "Hey." She says as I wipe off my forehead sweat. "Hi." I say. "So are you ready to talk now?" She asks, and I nod. I can't ignore her forever now can I? "So, are you still really mad?" She asks. "I'm not mad anymore, just disappointed. You talked about me behind my back. And you judged me without even knowing my situation. I know I didn't tell you about John and I but still, you shouldn't have talked about me."

"I know that and I regret it, trust me." I nod, "Alright, okay." She bites her lip. "Can you forgive me?" I think about all the good times I have spent with Eva, and how I enjoy having her as a friend. I love her and I would hate to lose her friendship. "Okay fine." She smiles and I smile too, she gives me a big hug. I feel happy that we are good now. "I'm sorry too, I probably overreacted." She shakes her head, "It's fine."

We walk out the bathroom, we are walking to the locker room when John pops out of nowhere. "Nicole, I need to talk to you." Eva looks at me and then at him, "I'll just ummm wait for you in there."

John stops her, "No. Stay here Eva, I want everybody here to see and hear what I'm about to tell her." My heart falls to my stomach, he's probably going to embarrass me and tell me that Sarah is better and that it's better to just not get back together. I try to walk away but he grabs my arm. "Let me go!" I say harshly. People were already staring before, now they're staring even more. "No, you need to hear this."

Eva looks shocked and she's looking around at the people. "Hear what? That you trade me for somebody else?" He lets me go. "What? What are you talking about?"

"Don't try to play dumb." He looks at me like I am crazy. "I seriously don't know what you're talking about." He's got to be kidding. "Tell me what's this you're talking about."

"Do you really want me to say it out loud? In front of all these people?" He nods, "Okay fine. Sarah. Who's Sarah Huh? I heard you talking on the phone and you even met up with her. While we were on 'break', so don't even bother to humiliate me and tell me you're with her or whatever. I don't want to hear it." He starts to laugh like its the funniest thing ever. My face heats up. How can he laugh at me like I'm stupid?

"That's not funny!" I scream, more people start to gather around. Including Seth. "Yes, it is. It's just hilarious." I want to slap him so bad but I calm myself down. "That's not funny. Explain to me how is it funny?" I want to cry because I'm so angry. I see Seth fixing to step in probably to defend me but Roman stops him. He's with him. Roman tells him something and I watch Seth look angrily at John. I also realize Seth is holding a periwinkle flower on one of his hand. Now I remember, I'm suppose to talk to him tonight.

"It's funny because you don't even know who Sarah is." John finally says. "Your lover." I say and He chuckles, "Oh gosh Nicole you're killing me."

"Nikki." I correct him, "Oh my bad- Nikki." He's got this stupid grin on his face and I wish Roman would let Seth go so he could erase that stupid grin off his face. "Whatever, John. I'm done." I try to get by him but he won't move out the way. "Sarah is a worker at a jewelry store." He says, I look at him. Does he really expect me to believe that? "I needed a break to think about us, about our relationship. And I called Sarah to help me out with a surprise I wanted to give to you."

He looks around at the WWE superstars that have gathered around us. "I want everyone to see this, I want everybody to hear this." He reaches to his back pocket, everybody is staring at him. Even Seth. He gets down and my whole insides twist and turn, I feel lightheaded. This can't be happening- this can't be happening. This can't be-

"Nicole Garcia Colace, would you do me the honor to become my wife?" He's down on one knee, the ring is right there on his hand. I've been waiting for this moment for months and now it's finally happening. My mouth is dry and there's gasps and whispering. But only one person in the crowd catches my attention.

Seth, he looks at me. His eyes are showing sadness and he looks down. He looks devastated, broken.. Literally. And it stings me. It hurts me. He drops the flower and moves away from Roman. I watch as he walks away, he's running his fingers through his hair. I feel the urge to go behind him but I'm frozen.

Frozen in the moment.
