Deena's POV

Strangely enough, were were all quiet on the ride home, only listening to the radio. I've been staring at the window and occasionally looking at everyone. George was slouched back and looking out his window, Clay of course paid attention to the road, but Nick was passed out in the passenger seat. I smiled at him and shook my head before I felt someone's body weight on my legs. I hand my hand up and looked down to see George using my legs as a pillow. I felt the glitter again. You know how glitter looks? Imaging that but a feeling in your stomach. That's what keeps happening. I hesitated before placing my hand on his head and softly playing through each strand. I didn't feel myself  smiling down at him until I heard a small and quiet laugh from the front of the car. I shot my head up to see Clay smirking at me through the rear view mirror. He looked back at the road, but his smirk wasn't leaving. I looked down and George was now passed out. I realized I smiled this time but I really didn't try to force it away. After playing with his hair for a few more minutes before I let it rest on his head, his cheek felt warm and this may sound weird but it felt nice. I ended up lightly brushing his cheek with my thumb as I looked down at him, that stupid smile still on my face.

"Deena wake him up we're back" Clay said as he shook Nick awake. I lightly shook George's shoulder and he groaned.

"George come on we're here" I laughed at him and he finally sat up. His hair was messed up and he had a small bit of drool on his cheek.

"I drooled on you sorry" he quickly wiped my knee and I laughed at him before wiping his face and opening the door. I turned around waiting for him to come out but he was still sitting there.

"Come on, spit face" I smiled and he finally got out. We made our way inside and I quickly ran to my room to change. I grabbed a hoodie and some shorts before taking my hair down and taking my makeup off. I grabbed my phone and started hopping up the stairs, making my way up to the living room.

"Fuck!" I began to shout as someone yanked my arm and dragged me into Clay's room. I turned around as he shut the door. "Clay what the fuck!?"

"Shhhh Deena" he smiled and forced me to sit down. "What the hell is going on between you and George?"

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows and he threw his head back and laughed. "Nothing- I don't know- nothing" I groaned.

"Deena do you like him?" He smiled and grabbed my shoulders.

"I mean-" I sighed and groaned. "Yeah, I do"

"Then tell him" he laughed but I shook my head. He grabbed my face and shook it lightly. "Deena. Tell. Him"

"Clay I-"

"Hey Can- oh" we both turned to George in the door way, which I didn't think anything of it until his face noticeably fell. What he walked in on looked pretty bad. Clay's hands fell right as I realized and I felt my heart drop. "Sorry I'll go"

"George-"

"No it's cool" he didn't let Clay finish, and just shut the door and walked away.

"That did not look good" Clay started as we both stared at the door. The sound of someone walked down the stairs was all we heard along with the tv in the living room quietly.

"Fuck, Clay" I sighed and sat down on the floor, not wanting to move. "There goes that"

"I'm sure he won't think anyth-"

"Did you not see the look on his face?" I snapped my head to him. "That wasn't exactly 'oh that means nothing' kind of face" silence took the both of us over. I stared at the ground and felt my stomach drop. Out of everything that has happened this past month. Everything. This has to happen too?

"Look Deena I'm sorry" he stepped towards me and I looked at him while shaking my head.

"You did nothing wrong, Clay" I began to stand up and I wrapped my arms around him tightly. "I'm sorry for snapping at you that was rude" the warm embrace was shortened when I pulled away, heading for the door.

"Where are you going?" Clay sighed and cocked his head to the side.

"I'm going out for some time to myself. After everything this month I need a me night" I grabbed my phone and grabbed the doorknob, only stopping to reassure no one here was an issue. "No you guys didn't do anything wrong, and I'm not tired of you. I just fell as if it'll cheer me up more than you guys have been. Fuck this sounds so rude" I sighed and rubbed my face.

"No I get what you're saying, go ahead" he crossing his arms and I stayed in the same place, which only made him shoo me away. I didn't say anything to anyone and straight away bolted to my room to change into a nice black short dress and putting on mascara before grabbing my keys and driving to a club.

George's POV

I walked inside and felt myself get all nervous once again. I felt bad that I drooled on her, and embarrassed, let alone that I fell asleep on her. I went to my room and threw on some sweats and  at shirt before walking to Nick's room.

"Hey d-" I stopped when I saw him passed out on his bed. I let out a small chuckled while shutting his door quietly and making my way to clays room. I wanted to go to the beach to chill out with them. I hopped up the stairs before opening the door.

"Hey can- oh" I froze when I saw the position Clay and Deena were in. My heart slowly fell into my stomach and I felt myself get hot. They stood there in shock and I tried not to let my expression get to rough. "Sorry I'll go"

"George-"

"No it's cool" I quickly shut the door and ran down to my room. My body was still hot and I felt my face get hotter and hotter at every second, along with my throat getting tight. I tried to hold back from slamming the door, and succeeded, then laid down on my back, covering my face with my hands and throwing the covers over me. "Why do you let yourself get like this?" I questioned out loud as I heard wind blowing outside. The silence made me even more upset.

"You catch feelings, and always get hurt. You tell yourself it will end up like that, and it always does no matter what second guesses you have. Just stop letting it happen you fucking IDIOT!" I punched the bed frame super hard and immediately felt the throbbing pain in my hand, putting it up to my face and groaning. "Just fuck off" I felt crazy talking to myself, but I needed someone to talk me out of this mess to be, or mess that already started. The sound of shuffling in Deena's room pried me away and I heard her running around before I heard keys and the front door slam, her car beginning to start.

"Can I come in?" Someone spoke from the other side, the American accent belonging to the one and only Clay. I hesitated for a moment and sat up before sighing.

"Yeah" my gaze fell to my lap before he walked in and sat on the foot of the bed. This outta be interesting.
