Deena's POV

"Hi, Ian" I could tell the look on my face was sadness and shock. He seemed to look guilty and I sighed and stepped outside, shutting the door. "You okay?"

"I'm sorry I shut you out" he blurted out quickly. My eyes widened and he looked down to the ground, both his arms slouched by his sides.

"What? No Ian you didn't do that it's okay-"

"Yes I did, Deena." He cut me off quickly. "You'd text me and I'd never answer. You'd call me and I'd tell you I'm busy. I felt like I was too hurt to talk to you but I never even thought about how you were hurt too. I'm sorry, Denise"

I stood there staring at him, still colored pale of shock. I reached out and touched his shoulder. He looked up and I lightly hit it once.

"C'mere" I gave a sympathetic smile and pulled him into a hug. "It's okay"

We caught up. He has a girlfriend who lives in North Carolina. They've gotten really close the past two month. They've been friends for 4 years.

He might move there to her so they can be together.

"Moving...?" I felt sadness full my bloodstream.

"I'm so sorry" he seemed even more guilty than before.

"No... you're happy, that's all that matters, Ian" I smiled and hugged him again. "When?"

"A few months" he pursed his lips and nodded. I nodded in response. "We'll hang out a lot until then?"

"Of course" I smiled and we hugged one more time. We said our goodbyes and I shut the door behind me, leaning against it as I felt tears prickle at my eyes. A pound thumping of the stairs got louder before a worried George stood at the top of the stairs, right before realizing I was crying.

"Deena!" He whisper shouted and ran down the stairs, holding onto me. "Hey what's going on, Love?"

"I- Ian's moving" I choked on my words and let out a deep sob.

"Oh, Darling" he sighed and spoke sadly has he sat us down, swaying us side to side gently while rubbing my arm. "I'm so sorry"

"I've never heard you say that before" I laughed through the tears and looked to him. "Oh, darling"

He scoffed at my mimicry and moved some hairs out of my face before smiling at me again.  He kissed me softly.

"It'll be alright" he smiled down at me. I knew he was right. And he really meant it. "I've seen you two together there's no breaking that friendship. Not even thousands of miles could do that"

"Hopefully his girlfriend won't ruin anything" I sighed and he widened his eyes.

"He has a girlfriend?" I nodded and laughed.

"Her names Amelia. She's really chill so I know she was but I don't know how she is in a relationship. They've been friends for four years." I shrugged and he nodded, just listening. "Fingers crossed"

I crossed my fingers and leaned my head against his shoulder. We sat there for a few minutes until we heard footsteps come down the stairs, turning around when we heard a laugh.

"Checking to make sure you guys weren't fuck-"

"Okay!" I George laughed and stood up, helping me up too.

"And if we were what would you have done, walked in?" I laughed and Nick went pale in embarrassment. Me and George laughed harder at his reaction. "Come on let's go"

We walked upstairs and sat down in a circle, us noticing cards placed in a circle around a can of beer. Oh fuck.

"Are we really playing kings?" I laughed at Clays smirk and he nodded. We all knew how to play so we sat down. "And I'm assuming we have to chug the beer, or are we getting one that isn't opened and shotgunning it?"

"Oh I like the shotgun idea, didn't think about that" Clay pointed out and the other two groaned, me laughing.

"Deenaaa why did you say that?" I laughed at George's groans and we started playing. The constant drinking only made us get even more drunk, making us laugh at every short comment made, and any clumsiness we had. There were about 8 cards left in the circle, the can almost popping open. George was next and he pulled a two, meaning 'you' so he had to pick someone to drink. He slowly pointed to me and I groaned. Clay was my mate so that meant he had to drink two. It was my turn now and I pulled an ace. Great. Waterfall. Everyone groaned as I started chugging my drink, everyone else obviously doing the same. I went until I finished and then Clay stopped immediately, but Nick didn't, meaning George was stuck chugging the drink he JUST opened. Finally Nick stopped and George slammed his can onto the table, gasping for air.

"It was so COLD" he breathed out, making us all laugh. I grabbed the card, about to put it under the tab with the rest. I pushed it in and sighed with relief when it didn't pop open, until I heard a very faint pop, all of us stared at the can. Please don't open. Please don't open.

Pop

"No!" I screeched loudly and groaned, the rest cheering that they didn't have to shotgun a beer. "Okay to the balcony we go!"

I grabbed a beer that was sitting out for a little bit (so it wasn't freezing cold) and headed to the balcony, everyone else following, grubs on their face. I tilted the can so the air bubble was at the bottom and waited for everyone to make it out the door.

"Do you need an opener?" Clay asked while pointing back inside.

"Nope!" I popped the p and but the can open, quickly tilting it up and popping open the tab, shotgunning the beer in about 8 seconds.

"Holy shit!" Nick shouted as I tilted the can over, showing nothing was left, crushing it with my hand and dropping it on the ground.

"Let's goooo!" I cheered and man-hugged Nick, who was the only was cheering with me. The other two were still in shock.

"How the hell?" Clay questioned and I laughed.

"I used to party... a lot" I smiled and the rest started laughing with me. We made our way inside, it being nearly 4 am now. "Jeezus"

"Bed time?" George questioned and I immediately yawned, giving my response.

"Yeah I'm heading to bed" Nick laughed. We cleaned up everything and said our good nights. Me and George stumbled down the stairs and giggled every-time one of us almost fell. We finally made it to our rooms and changed. I wore one of his hoodies and some spandex, collapsing into his bed. He laughed at me and did a belly flop into the bed. Uh oh.

"Bad idea" he clenched his stomach and looked at me with wide eyes. My eyes widened as well as we ran to the bathroom, him collapsing straight to the ground in front of the toilet. I rubbed his back as he groaned, clearly about to puke as he kept spitting into the water.

"There you go" I cringed as he threw up, rubbing his back and comforting him. He groaned and coughed, spitting a few times. He probably puked 6 times before he started dry heaving.

"Oh god I'm sorry, I know it hurts" I sighed as he started shaking and sweating. I heard footsteps and a worried Nick appeared.

"I heard it, do you need anything?" I mouthed 'water' and he nodded, quickly going to get some. He kept dry heaving and trying to stop. Finally Nick brought water. I pointed to the tissues and he quickly handed them to me. I game some to George as he wiped his mouth, drinking the water a little two fast.

"Wait slow down, George, you'll-" I was cut off by him quickly puking it all back up. "Just throw it up"
