Deena's POV

I felt someone shaking my arm and opened my eyes, realizing I fell asleep. I looked over and George was standing over me, now poking my face. I looked at my phone and it was 1 in the morning.

"Come on sleepy head" he laughed at me and helped me stand up. The wood creaked as we walked down each step, and of course I still was stumbling and needed assistance. We finally got down and instead of going to the door I went to the rail. "Deena come on" George whined and I shook my head and smiled at him.

"Let's go to the beach" I smiled and his eyes switched from being tired to being exited. Shutting the door, way too loudly may I add, he hurried and grabbed my hand and dragged me down the rest of the stairs. The feeling of the cool sand on my feet made me smile wide. I hadn't been to a beach since Miranda and I went about a month ago. George came to a halt when I stopped walking and waited, still holding my hand.

"You okay?" I looked down at the sand and back to him before kicking the sand all over him. His jaw dropped and he let go of my hand, shocked. I put my hand over my mouth to hold back a laugh before running away. I was laughing super loud and turned around to see if he was chasing me but he wasn't there. I froze and the smile on my face faded. I turned around and looked in every direction, spinning in circles.

"George?" I let out a nervous laugh. "George?!" I knew he was just playing with me but I was still scared. There were no piers or anything near us so he couldn't hide.

"George!" I was screaming now and panicking, running to the water to see if he was down there, but he wasn't... I turned and looked back to the house.

It was gone?

There was only sand. No cottages or anything. The sound of the ocean got quieter and the sky somehow got darker. The temperature seemed to drop 10 degrees and I grew terrified.

"Hello!?" I was crying and sobbing as I dropped to my knees. All sounds seemed to be echoing as if I was in a parking garage. "George!"

"Denise?" I heard someone respond softly and my head snapped behind me. I ran and ran in the direction before I finally saw something in the distance. I tried to run as fast as possible but by the time I got to him, he faded away into dust.

"George!" I shrieked loudly before feeling someone tap my shoulder. I turned to see him standing there and he smiled. I stood there with fear and his smile slowly dropped.

"What's wrong?" He reached for my shoulder but I stepped back again. I heard a loud bang and white flashed, feeling as if it blinded me, almost like a flash bomb. Once my vision cleared and the ringing began to get quieter, I saw George now laying on the ground, a dark substance surrounding him. His eyes were wide and his body laid limp.

"George!!" I screamed and collapsed, reaching for him, but once again he faded into nothing. I heard loud shouting and multiple different noises as I laid on the ground, crying. They got louder and louder before I felt my body drop.

"Deena wake up what is going on!?"

A dream. It was all a dream.

"Deena come on!" I heard fear in someone voice as I woke up in someone's arms. I looked up and saw George, Worry plastered over his face. I felt my face get hot before I began to cry, grabbing onto him. He held me and didn't ask any questions. "You were screaming" his voice cracked and I pulled away, wiping my face. We both were quiet again as I stood up, signaling I wanted to go inside. We walked to my room and sat on my bed, still quiet.

"Night terror" The sound of the breeze outside was loud through my open windows and it bothered me, making me slam them shut. I sat down again and sighed.

"You kept screaming my name"

"You were in it" I didn't hesitate to respond even a second and he nodded, looking down. "You got hurt. Bad"

"I'm sorry" he looked back at me and I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "That sounds terrible. I've only had few night terrors in my life but it was never of anyone I'm close to getting hurt"

"Yeah it was really bad. But it's okay" I nodded and we sat there for a minute in silence before my mouth began to build up spit, my throat started to feel as if it was swelling up and I couldn't swallow. I put my hand over my mouth and my left hand on George's arm while widening my eyes.

"Oh god" he froze and stood up. "Hurry hurry" he rushed us to our bathroom and luckily I made it to the toilet in time. I was on my knees while he sat to the right side of me, pulling my hair out of my face. He took a random hair tie off the counter and gently pulled my hair up. Once he started to rub my back I relaxed, although I was dry heaving at this point. He moved small pieces of hair from my face and tucked it behind my ears. "Just let it all out"

"I'm sorry-" I was about to say before my body rejected more from my stomach. He placed his hands on my shoulders and resting his torso on my back, his head resting on my shoulder also.

"It's okay" he spoke softly and we sat for another minutes before I was officially done, flushing the toilet and wiping my mouth with a tissue George gave me. I stood up and groaned, my body being tense and uncomfortable. "Brush your teeth vomit girl"

"Don't start" I glared at him as he laughed and raised his hands up in defense. I brushed my teeth and changed quickly before walking into his room. "Hey"

"Hey vomit girl" he continued to laugh once again and I smiled this time. I told there for a moment before he patted next to him. I sat on his bed next to him as he laid on his back. I leaned against the headboard and watched as he picked a movie. "Want to watch anything in specific?"

"Who said I was staying here?" I smirked at him and he rose his eyebrows in an 'oh really?' Way.

"Do you want to go to sleep?" I shook my head and slumped down a little, smiling to myself. "Now what should I put on.

"Jackass" I smiled and he rolled his eyes, clicking on the movie.

"Nick forced me to watch this"

"Good" I laughed and laid down all the way, still over the covers. We stayed like this for about thirty minutes before he groaned, pulling the blankets from under me and putt them on top.

"Your shivering was driving me insane why didn't you go under the blankets like a normal person?" He laughed.

"I wasn't comfortable about it" I pulled them off slowly and his eyes went wide, regret flooding his face before I started laughing. "I was joking calm down"

"Don't do that I was really sad" he mumbled as I tugged some of the blanket from him. I laughed and  brought my attention back to the movie before I heard slowed breathing from my right. I looked over and George was facing me completely passed out. I turned down the volume so the loud parts wouldn't wake him up before I felt a warm arm wrap around my hips. I reached down to move his arm but he completely rolled over to where he was latched onto me like a baby monkey. I soon felt myself get super tired and turned off the tv.

"Goodnight, George" I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair a few fine before I fell asleep.
