Deena's POV

One of my boards had a retractable fin, so I could lay it on the sand and help them learn how to stand up on the board. Clay easily understood but the other two, were struggling to say the least.

"Nick you just stand up!" Clay shouted next to me and I laughed. On the sand he would stumble to far forwards and face plant.

"I'm clumsy and I an jumping up onto a board, Clay. Shut up" he groaned before trying a few more times. George walked up to the left of my from the chairs.

"Water?" He held out a bottle and I snatched it from him. Taking a few sips. "This is going to take some time"

"Oh please" I laughed at him and handed him the water bottle back. "You can't even do it"

"Hey! Piss off!" He acted like he was mad and made a pouty face so I rolled my eyes and turned back to Nick, and just when I looked back he did it.

"YES!" I screamed immediately, making George and Clay jump while Nick just started smiling and put his hands up. "You did it!" He laughed and hopped off before motioning for George to try again. He hesitated before laying down and looked back up at us.

"This is embarrassing when all three of you are watching" he had his arms propped up and we smiled at him while I gave him a thumbs up. "I hate you all"

It had been about five minutes of him doing the exact same thing as Nick before he collapsed onto the board. He laid his arms out and groaned while I walked to him, squatting down. He looked at me but then closed his eyes in frustration.

"Put your arms back up" I said while moving them into the right position.

"No I give up" he yanked his arm away but I just grabbed it again. "Fine"

"Now when you start to push up, you should feel these muscles tighten" I was now standing as he slowly imitated the movement. I placed me hands on his hips and pushed it forward. "And shift your body weight forwards"

"But that's how I kept falling" he Froze and looked at me in confusion.

"You kept falling because your arms weren't in the right place, always keep them slightly in front of you, so you don't lean over them and fall" I grabbed his arms and shifted them. "Now are you a lefty or a righty when you do a cartwheel?"

"Lefty?" He laughed at me and I smiled before pushing his left leg, making it bend, while his right stayed slightly extended.

"So you shift your left leg kind of under you as soon as you start to jump of then you just kind of.... stand?" I cleared my throat and stepped back. He stayed there for a minute before I started laughing. "Do it all together now, George"

"Oh!" He laughed and I heard Clay softly wheeze from behind me. He laid back down and took a deep breath before getting up and HE DID IT. "Oh woah!"

"Yes George!" The guys and I shouted while I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Let's go now!" I smiled and they all got exited and grabbed a board, George grabbed the smallest one. "Oh good no George I'll take that one, the longer boards are easier"

"I'm not handicapped" he smiled down at me and laughed.

"Well on the board you're a little...." I started to laugh and he punched my shoulder right after he strapped it onto his ankle, before we all started to go out. We paddled out and it was extremely calm now. I saw a really small wave coming , but it was rideable. Clay and Nick tried to get it, but Nick immediately fall off and Clay barely was able to push up. George just sat there.

"Are you going to try?" I asked as we both sat on our boards. He shrugged and I paddled over to him quickly before putting my left leg over his to keep us together.

"This is terrifying" he laughed out and watched the other waves crash onto the shore. I nodded and laid back onto my board. "Deena there's a wave" he shouted as I felt myself getting pulling in. I smiled and saluted as the wave slowly took me as it peaked and George tried to paddle to get me. He seemed worried and the wave started to crash before I flipped over.

"Stand up now!" I smiled and his eyes went wide as I stood up quickly. He fumbled for a second and I got really scared before he stood up. His mouth dropped and he seemed to be panicking as what to do next.

"Holy shit" I smiled to myself before turning back to him. "Jump off and into the water!" I screamed before doing it myself, him following.

"Deena why would you do that-!?" I cut his shouts off my hugging him tightly. "We're going to drown if you don't let go" he smiled while trying to paddle with his hands. I let go and cheered loudly.

"You did it!" I shouted and I heard others swimming towards us, it was Clay and Nick but they didn't have the boards anymore.

"We went and put them away what did we miss?" Clay smiled and George's face dropped before they started laughing. "I'm joking that was fucking awesome how did you do that?"

"She acted like she was getting taken by a wave so I tried paddling out to her but then she switched up on me and told me to jump up" he glared at me playfully and we all laughed. I unstrapped the board from my ankle and started paddling in with everyone. The boards the guys were using were sticking up out of the sand so I put mine next to the other ones, George doing the same. We sat down and all drank some water, which was needed, and had lunch. They made some sandwiches before we left and they were so much better at the beach than normal. We were laughing about anything and everything for about ten minutes after we ate before I stood up.

"Last one to the water is anti-pogchamp!" I shouted and sprinted to the water, all of them shooting up and bolting after me. I was first of course, then it was Nick. Clay and George were neck and neck before they jumped in literally at the same time. "It-it was a tie" me and Nick spoke and they groaned as we stood in the water.

"Deena who do you think won?" Nick asked me and I stroked my nonexistent beard. All of them stared at me with and urge to know who is the anti-pogchamp loser.

"George" I said softly and he jumped up and grabbed me by the waist, spinning me around.

"That is so biased!" Clay groaned and Nick patted his back as he acted angry before laughing.

"Okay George put me down" I laughed and he smirked, my smile dropping.

"Okay!" I felt him start to throw my body up into the air before I started falling back down.

"No—" my shouts were cut off by my body going underwater and I swam up and started coughing harshly. I put my hand on his shoulder and gasped for air.

"Shit Deena are you okay??!" He asked loudly before I started to smile and shoved him under water, laughing with the guys before he stood up, glaring at me. "That wasn't funny I was scared!" He smiled and splashed me with water. Now all hell broke loose.
