Deena's POV:

"Deena Deena Deena Deena" I felt someone shaking me and I opened my eyes to see Nick with an eager look on his face. I furrowed my eyes brows at him and slowly sat up. No one else was here except Downey, who was chewing on a bone.

"What?" I asked softly and he plopped down next to me. A smile on his face. "Nick what is it"

"Can we go surfing?" He smiled and I laughed.

"Yes we can go surfing you child" I laughed more and he gave an offended look before stomping off, the loud footsteps making Downey pop his head up and chase after him, biting at his ankles.

"Get it off! Get it off!" I began to lose my breath from laughing so hard and him helplessly hopping around foot to foot trying to get away from him. "Deena!"

"Okay!" I laughed at his shriek and voice crack before getting up and picking Downey up. "Go get ready"

"Humph." He huffed and stomped down stairs.

"Be gentle you meanie head" I looked at Downey who was still in my arms. He tilted his head and licked my face. I smiled down at him just as he yawned and snuggled next to me. "Baby I gotta get up"

I stood up and Downey slowly follows me down stairs to my room. George wasn't in his room either. Strange. I quickly put on a green one piece with a matching green and black rash guard before heading back up to Nick's room.

"Hey do you know where George is-" I froze when I opened the door to see him pacing back and forth with his trunks and rash guard (that I got him) on. "Hey, Nick"

"I uh-" I put my hand on his back and walked over to his bed, sitting down with him next to me. "I got a text from Clay, they said they were going to go somewhere but he didn't say where and he's not answering and I started panicking I don't know why"

"Hey it's okay, I'm sure his phone just died or he's driving. Did you text George?" His head nodded quickly and I looked down to my phone to see a text from him myself. "George texted me he'll be back later"

"I just get really bad- really bad anxiety I don't know why" he tried to speak and catch his breath in between words but I could tell it was really difficult.

"Hey it's okay, just slowly breathe in, Hold your breath, then let it out."I kept rubbing his back and helping him breath until he could breathe again. I stood up and help out my hand and he quickly took it, but instead of walking he hugged me. "You good?"

"I just needed a hug." He smiled and let go. "Really I am sorry about that. I get anxiety over things like that ever since you- um. Since it uh"

"It's alright" I smiled and tried to lighten up his mood by ruffling up his hair. But now I felt my breath get thickened and heavy. "Hey go ahead and wax the boards up downstairs I'm gonna use the bathroom"

"You sure you trust me to do that?" He smiled and I forced out a laugh.

"Yep now go!" I laughed and pushed him downstairs before stumbling into the bathroom on his floor. My vision got blurry and I couldn't breathe.

"Come on Deena get your shit together." I told myself in the mirror as the water works began. "You've been doing so well. You've been able to not think about it all. Only think of the happy memories. Happy memories. Come on!" I shouted and slammed my hands on the counter. I tried to catch my breath but nothin was working. "Okay sit down. Sit down and catch your breath then."

"Deena? Are you okay?" I heard a knock on the door and quickly shot up and flushed the toilet. And wiped my face off. "Deena-?"

"Yep all good!" I swung open the door and skipped away, holding my breath.
