You kneel down behind a bush, and cock an arrow in your bow, pointing it at a grazing deer. Beside you, a white shewolf circles between your legs. She wasn't your pet, just a companion, as your nomadic lifestyle took you across the many timelines.

The wolf directs your attention back to the deer, and you nod, preparing to let go of the bow.

At that same moment, something crashes through the woods right then and your arrow misses it's mark, landing harmlessly in the grass. The deer's head shoots up and it bounds into the greenery, not to been again.

You watch it go, and groan inwardly. "There goes breakfast...and food for the next two weeks." The wolf nudges your leg, pointing you towards the original disturbance. "Hmm? What's up, girl?"

You glance up and see a very odd sight. There is a blue-haired girl in all white with flowers tucked into her hair standing in the clearing. She's fingering the arrow that you had just fired with one hand. As you watch, she looks up and stares directly at your hiding place.

That's not what shocks you though. What shocks you is the MASSIVE violet sword the girl is dragging behind her. It looks to be almost her full size, and as you stare at it, an eye opens up on the weapon and stares right back at you.

Freaky.

"Hunter." The girl calls, scaring you out of your thoughts and the sword's gaze. Her voice is soft. "I request your assistance."

You stay silent, but the wolf thinks otherwise and nudges you forward, lowly growling. Well, if she doesn't smell danger...

"For what reason?" You reply slowly, standing to your full height. "I don't exactly know you, and you scared away my food."

The girl stares at you with a calm expression. "I apologize for ruining your hunt. But my guardian is in danger." She pauses and you cross your arms, waiting for her to continue. "My name is Yeul. My guardian and I were traversing these woods when I was attacked by a Behemoth. My guardian defended me until the monster caught him by surprise and separated him from his weapon and I. I have scoured the woods for two days since but he is nowhere to be found."

You listen to Yeul's story, thinking to yourself. It seems suspicious and hard to believe but the girl was barely a teenager. How threatening could she be?

"I will aid you." Is all you say in return. You couldn't detect Yeul's reaction but she nods slowly, and holds the sword out to the wolf. The canine sniffs the weapon and closes her eyes, before springing off into the dense forest.

You sprint after her, trying to keep up the wolf, as she tears through the woods. The canine only slows down when nearing a small sandy pit.

Then she begins growling. Yeul lightly steps up beside you and as you wonder how she caught up with you, she wordlessly points at where the wolf is growling. You turn around, and freeze in place.

A huge Behemoth is pacing in front of a tunnel hewn into the ground. There was a horrific stench coming from inside, most likely its nest, and you scrunch your nose the second it hits you.

"My guardian is in there." Yeul whispers, pointing toward the cave again. "I do hope he's alright." You just nod silently, trying to ignore the horrific stench, and nock an arrow in your bow. The shewolf notices and, evidently realizing your plot, slinks around to the other side of the pit.

You let the arrow fly.

It hits the Behemoth square in a small patch of skin under its armor, and the creature roars in pain. The wolf barks at it, and rushes off, the huge monster lumbering after it.

"Your wolf is a brave creature." Yeul whispers, following you into the sandy pit. You shake your head. "She's not my wolf. She's a companion." The girl doesn't reply, as the two of you walk inside the Behemoth's nest.
