"So, Spiritus, how are your warriors bonding?" Materia sipped her tea, glancing at her sworn enemy with squinty eyes. The other god didn't reply, staring at his drink with an enraged look.

Mog sat on your head, as your tail lashed, the two of you staring at the two gods. "I thought this was supposed to be a nice get together, kupo." He whispered to you. "Not an angry one." You just shrugged in response. "Why are you even surprised, Moggy? I'll just have to make them chat, in my own special way."

You cleared your throat, and regret it immediately, as both Materia and Spiritus turn their glares to you. It made you want to shrink into the ground and die but you continued on anyway. "I think the warriors are bonding great!" Your voice squeaked, causing Mog to sigh loudly.

There was an awkward silence. You felt like you could slice the tensions to bits with your staff, until Materia coughed into her tea. "Y/N, if you could go check on the warriors? We would like to talk alone." She said with an obviously fake smile.

Well that hurts. You responded with a false grin of your own and nodded, before almost tripping over your tail as you backpedaled out the door. Mog swayed wildly on your head, before he found his composure. "Kupo, you need to think before you speak." He mumbled. "Remember that for next time."

You sigh and think about a retort, before someone clearing their throat distracted you. "Y/N? Is thag you?" At that voice, you felt your heart melt, and you whipped around, praying your tail doesn't begin to wag.

"Hi Sephiroth!" You squeak, staring up at him. "What are you doing here?" The man scoffed, seeming more agitated than usual. "Your question should be more along the lines of 'what are we all doing here'?"

He gestured vaguely with his sword, and that's when you noticed the entirety of Spiritus's warriors just...milling about behind him. Thankfully, Zenos yae Galvus wasn't with them, but it was still a scary sight.

Sephiroth noticed you staring and rolled his eyes. "Fools, the lot of them. You shouldn't bother with those beneath you." He grumbled.

You glanced up at Mog, who just shook his head, before something else distracted you. "You! Cat creature!" It was someone behind you.

Mog hopped off your head and walked up to the genome mage, who looked significantly more annoyed than Sephiroth. "Is something wrong, kupo?" He asked, fluttering his tiny wings.

Kuja scoffed and waved a hand. "So, the lowly pixie speaks." He glared at you. "Did the god's mongrel tell them that we're about ready to start a war?" You blinked, shocked, feeling Sephiroth stiffen beside you.

Is he trying to defend me? The thought almost made you blush, but Kuja's silent rage kicked you back into reality. "Uhm, the gods sent me out, I don't know what they want." You stammered awkwardly, trying to process Kuja's mood.

"Well, should you not be returning to their meeting?" Kuja snapped, crossing his arms. "The moogle stays, you should go."

Almost as if on cue, Materia appeared in the door, causing the warriors to fall silent. She waved you back inside, before vanishing herself. You turned to both Sephiroth and Kuja, shrugged, and walked back inside.

"So, Y/N, tell me. What did the warriors tell you?" Materia asked, sipping her drink again.

You paused.

"Uhm, there might be a mutiny forming."
