You shift your legs every so slightly, not opening your eyes. Considering the situation, it was a wonder how the bonds weren't tighter.
Then, you registered two things. Your attackers speaking, and the fact you were tied upside down. Ignoring the blood rushing to your head, you began to listen to the two voices.
"How tightly is the Turk tied up, Azul?" It was a girl, with an incredibly robotic voice. You almost mistook her for an AI, but you knew better. The second voice scoffed. "I tied them up fine, brat. Now get lost! You're worse than Crimson, and she's not even here!"
The two voices, Azul the Cerulean and Shelke the Transparent, fade away, you silently sigh and return to wiggling your feet out of your bonds. Your captors were Deepground, the same group you had been assigned to watch as a Turk. They may have been part of Shinra, but they were dangerous, and needed to have tabs kept on them. And you liked to think that you did a pretty good job, gathering important information on almost every Tsviet. You supposed that's why they had captured you, angered about their revealed secrets.
There was only one Tsviet who evaded you, however. Weiss the Immaculate, the worshipped leader of Deepground. No matter how hard you could try, information on the elusive man was still scarce.
You finish untying your bonds and hop silently to the ground, feeling for your dagger. It begins to glow brightly, giving you light in the dark closet the Tsviets had thrown you in. Alongside being very shiny, the dagger also warded off Nero the Sable, your least favorite member of the brood and Weiss's younger brother.
With quiet steps, you pad outside, diving into the shadows when two grunt soldiers walk by. Then you continue silently throughout the hall, avoiding the grunts, until you hear Shelke and Azul going at each other's throats once again.
Near your former cell.
Oh no.
You book it down the hall as the argument stops and the yells start. Azul and Shelke, mostly Azul, began arguing with the surrounding grunt soldiers about your whereabouts. The stomps of the warriors' boots continue down the hall, as you continued to run towards the exit.
Something felt off, however. You glance at the very close exit, then at the surrounding shadows.
Only then you light your dagger up. "Come out you shadowy demon!" You shout, as Nero flies out of the shadows, his metallic arms covering his eyes. The bright light had blinded him for a second, and you take the opportunity to run.
With Rosso gone, and the others distracted, I'm home free-
Something slams into your stomach, and you gag, falling facedown onto the ground. Trying to process what had just happened, you feel your chin being lifted by a sword.
You're forced to glanced up at a white haired man with a long jacket and twin gunswords, one of which was almost piercing into your skin. "Going somewhere?" He smirked, with a snide tone to his voice.
You spit at him, and fling the knife at the unknown man's face, only for him to GRAB IT with his free hand. "Oh no, I wouldn't try that." He extinguished the glowing light. "What a rude weapon. You're hurting my brother's eyesight."
Brother...?
Panic washes over you as you realize who this man is, and a yell from Azul confirms your fears. "Weiss! You found the prisoner!" The head of Deepground scoffs and digs his blade even deeper into your chest, causing you to gag. "My brother is truly the only one here who can do anything, isn't he?" He mutters, before turning back to you and snapping his fingers.
Your eyesight begins to dim, before everything goes black. The last thing you sense before darkness was Weiss retracting his Sleep Materia and him whispering. "Lights out, Turk."
