Movie Night Headcanons: Dissidia NT

Movie night with the squad. Aka, y/n has a movie "date" with every single warrior from Dissidia NT (but not Spiritus and Materia, and the type charatcers because who the heck).

Warriors of Materia:

Warrior of Light: To your evident surprise and shock, the stoic and strong WoL is a big Star Wars fan. He likes the heroism and the space battles, and he definitely wishes he had force powers at a few points. You'll probably end up binge watching the entire original series.

Firion: Firion likes Pixar movies, especially Up. He always cries at Ellie's death, and is always invested in the rest of the story. You think it's super cute, and it flusters him a little.

Onion Knight: Onion Knight likes animated movies, but only the "cool" ones such as Treasure Planet or Atlantis. He doesn't like any of the "kiddie" films, but, just for you, he'll watch something cute.

Cecil: Cecil loves cute animal movies. He likes the ones about dogs especially, and basically breaks down if the dog dies (like you SHOULD). Bring tissues, he'll be crying into your shoulder a lot.

Kain: Kain also likes cute animal movies, but he certainly doesn't show it. He'll act all dismissive and scoff when you bring them out, but he gets really invested. His favorite is Homeward Bound, you can notice him tearing up at some points.

Bartz: Action movies. It doesn't matter what kind of action movie, you're watching an action movie. He is OBSESSED, and he gets really into it. You'll probably just giggle a little at him, he's adorable.

Terra: Terra likes musicals, like The Sound of Music. You can hear her hum along to the songs every so often, and she's smiling the entire time. Even if you don't like musicals, she's so happy you can't complain.

Locke: Locke literally does not care. He'll watch anything and everything, but it has to be at least of good quality. He's not a "watch garbage films for fun" sort of fellow.

Cloud: Cloud's not that much of a movie guy, but if he had to pick a favorite, it's fantasy. He's seen enough sci-fi action to last himself a lifetime. You'll probably get through all the Narnia films before starting on the Lord of the Rings.

Tifa: Tifa's down for a good, inspiring, not a pity party sort of movie. She's not a chick flick sort of girl, she wants a movie of actual substance. Basically don't show her Mean Girls.

Squall: Squall also likes action, Bartz and he watch together a lot. He doesn't get as excited, and just sits there stoically as the fights progress on the screen.

Rinoa: Rinoa likes animated movies, especially animal ones. She's a big fan of the Fox and the Hound, and TLK. Her dog sits on the couch between you two as you watch, and occasionally barks at the animals on screen.

Zidane: Joining Bartz and Squall, Zidane also joins them for action movies (they probably have movie nights together). He's more of a chill action fan, and doesn't like it too much when stuff rushes the screen, but he's still a fan nonetheless.

Tidus: Sports movies. When he's not playing them, he's watching them, and you get to watch them too! He gets really emotional at the emotional parts and you'll get to pat him on the back while he's getting excited over the heroic last shot or something.

Yuna: Yuna likes calmer films that really make you think. She hates loud movies, and also requires you to keep the volume down low. It's mostly fine, as long as the surrounding area is quiet.

Shantotto: She hates movies. How DARE you not be reading a book and furthering your learning? But, since you're so nice, she'll watch some slice of lifey sort of thing while trying to hide her boredom.
